God bless June Foray. She was best known for voicing Rocky and also Natasha Fatale. She passed away in June 2017 at age 99 and that was a great age for her. She might be gone but not forgotten and she would be sadly missed.

June wasn't actually allowed to voice Natasha for some reason, which I remembered that upsetting her a lot. It's even more sad considering this was the last Rocky and Bullwinkle project she was involved in before she passed.

This is wonderful!!!! DreamWorks had the chance to introduce these characters and a whole new franchise to a new generation and they blew it! I really enjoyed Peabody and Sherman, but this would have made it feel more complete. There's a lot of love for the source material in it. (Anyone else catch Captain Peachfuzz as the minister?) It must have been surreal for June to be voicing Rocky all those years later. It's too bad Jay Ward and Bill Scott didn't live long enough to see this. They really tried to improve the quality of animation on R&B, but it still failed to reach their expectations. The animation quality in this one short would have blown their minds!

@@YouKnowImOnMyPeriodYah well the writers Thomas Bennon and Robert Ben Garant thought of it. They wanted to use Bad Romance by Lady Gaga since it would be funny. And the poetry corner is where they wanted Bullwinkle to read a dirty rap song that’s not a poem at all which is Superman by Eminem. And the wedding song they picked out is If You Wanna Be Happy by Jimmy Soul because the song is about not marrying a woman who’s pretty but marry a woman who’s ugly and that’s the most inappropriate song to play at a wedding party.

FINALLY, somebody uploaded the short!! I've been wanting to see this short for a very long time, I remember reading that this short was going to be shown in front of the film Mr. Peabody and Sherman and that the short was intended to be a sort of test if anyone would be interested in a CG film adaptation of Rocky and Bullwinkle, I was undeniably hyped to see it BUT instead they decided to pull the short last minute and replace it with a short to tie in with their next film called Home (which sucked in my opinion), I was disappointed while watching the short in front of Mr. Peabody and Sherman. But anyway I honestly enjoyed this short and it was great to hear June Foray do Rocky one more time before her death in 2017, and honestly I still want a new film of these guys same goes for Dudley Do Right and George of the Jungle.

If only Peabody and Sherman did better at the box office, Dreamworks would have utilized the Classic Media acquisitions further as films. Personally, I really wanted to see them make a GOOD Underdog movie instead of the insulting garbage fire Disney dumped out. One by someone who gets the appeal of the series and characters rather than shoehorning character names into a painfully generic talking dog movie. There was even talks of a Hot Stuff movie at some point, but I guess they figured out no one wants a Hot Stuff movie.

Actually it was going to be shown in theaters with Mr. Peabody & Sherman and it was to be a test for a feature film with the two characters. But it got replaced by a stupid alien themed short called Almost Home which was to promote the movie Home. So the Rocky and Bullwinkle short was released on the Blu-ray 3D disc of the Mr. Peabody & Sherman movie. Still we are never seeing a feature film of Rocky and Bullwinkle from DreamWorks Animation because the rights to the characters were given to WildBrian which is doing a new reboot of the old show in the future

I wish they went for a more stylistic animation style for this short and the Mr. Peabody movie, but that’s just me. Other than it, this is a great short. It has some nice pacing, great callbacks, Jay Ward style of humor, great casting and is a nice sendoff to June Foray’s career.

Since the last year i imagined ideas for films based in series, like for example, Rocky and Bullwinkle and Woody Woodpecker, and well, i liked the idea that DreamWorks Animation could produce a film about these 2 (well, only one because Bullwinkle Studios has a contract with Netflix/Wildbrain, and considering that DreamWorks Animation is owned by now from Universal Pictures, probably they only could produce a Woody Woodpecker film), but this short deserved the same appreciation that Mr. Peabody and Sherman deserved, even to be another film of the DreamWorks Animation and Jay Ward Cartoons contract. Tom Kenny fitted well for Bullwinkle, even being like Heffer Wolf but as another character with other voice, and i liked the June Foray comeback to voice Rocky, that well, was her last time voicing Rocky

Well that’s surprising. Also if they made a sequel to Mr. Peabody & Sherman I think the story should have Mr. Peabody meeting a female white beagle while a new girl likes Sherman and Penny gets jealous. But what they don’t know is the female beagle is a slave working for the girl who’s revealed to be a 27 year old spy who pretends to be a 9 year old trying to save her sister Ms. Grunion from being taken back in time. And for a Rocky and Bullwinkle movie either the story would be how Rocky and Bullwinkle meet for the very first time or Rocky and Bullwinkle in three interwoven stories

One of DreamWorks’ most underrated things they’ve done in the Fox era besides Fifi: Feline Therapist. It could have been better if the Fox era had Me and My Shadow, Mumbai Musical, Larrikins, and BOO instead of Boss Baby, and Home (although I do understand that the director of BOO would leave DreamWorks for the most infamous movie ever done meanwhile at Sony Pictures Animation) I kind of find Trolls okay because of Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling” and Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie is fine because we finally get to know what the characters sound like and so many people asking.

Oh hey, I remember you from Love Interest Wiki (and after our first meetings there, I decided to give Mr. Peabody and Sherman a rewatch, and I do like it for its strong animation and characters that steal the show like Mr. Peabody himself, Leonardo Da Vinci and Mona Lisa and the Trojans, not to mention Penny got her gorgeous looks from her super attractive mother Mrs. Peterson! Although my favourite DreamWorks Animation movies are all their 2D films while Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas comes close, the Aardman movies, Shrek 2 though Shrek 1 & 4 come close, the Madagascar trilogy, Kung Fu Panda 1 & 2 though KFP3 comes close, Monsters vs. Aliens, How to Train Your Dragon 1 & 2, Megamind, Puss in Boots and Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie... that reminds me...) Not only do we positively predict that later this decade (surely Coronavirus will stop being a pandemic later in the 2020s), DreamWorks Animation might make a Rocky and Bullwinkle movie, but also we might even get Captain Underpants: The Second Epic Movie!

I can definitely hear a bit of Heffer from "Rocko's Modern Life" in Tom Kenny's Bullwinkle voice. (Heffer was Tom Kenny's first major animation voice role, no less!)

This Rocky & Bullwinkie Short was last known project voiced by June Foray, due to her age in 2014, and passed away in 2017. I'm so disappointed that DreamWorks did it add it George the jungle characters in it.

Fun Fact: In Poetry Corner, when Bullwinkle was reading book of poems read marshall mathers the third also known Eminem he actually a rapper thats use some swears in poetry, which is why Bullwinkle was shock and stop reading.

This Rocky & Bullwinkle short along with the Mr. Peabody & Sherman movie is now owns by Universal Studios because Universal bought DreamWorks Animation about 2 years later. Universal did distributed the 2000 film, "The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle", which Universal eventually becomes the owner of the characters along with Mr. Peabody and Sherman 16 years later. A more updated version of this short might edited the 20th Century Fox logo out because DreamWorks Animation is now owned by Universal and also DreamWorks' distribution deal with 20th Century Fox (now called 20th Century Studios and owned by Disney since 2019) have expired in 2018.

It’s not a spin-off. Rocky and Bullwinkle are the main characters of their own show. Mr. Peabody & Sherman was a spin-off of Rocky and Bullwinkle

As a huge fan of Dudley Do-Right, I have to say that I love Snidely in this, but Dudley looks absolutely horrifying. He looks like if I look at him too long he'll steal my soul. Anyways, I have to wonder why the company never does anything with Dudley Do-Right of the Mounties. It's got the most potential out of everything related to Rocky and Bullwinkle IMO

@@jonmeyer3076 well if I make my own Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon they should include new friends and new enemies and new plots! But for now I only thought of two characters that are orphan brother and sister known as the Clovers Lucky and Chloe! First Mr Peabody & Sherman a 10 year old girl named Chloe who would be voiced by Hynden Walch! And then later on the whole gang met her missing brother who is now 17 Lucky Clover who would be voiced by Dante Basco! He was Chloe's missing brother for 5 years because a long time ago when Chloe was only 5 years old Lucky mysteriously disappeared! But it never stopped Chloe from believing that he would come back to her! Sometimes Lucky is like a second father to Chloe because both of their parents are dead! And ever since Chloe met Mr Peabody & Sherman she had to use the wayback machine for one purpose to find out the truth about how her brother disappeared 5 years ago! And as she got to the time and destination of where and when lucky disappeared she found out that he didn't die like her parents did he was captured by the people called the Pottsylvanian spies! And Mr Peabody & Sherman had to help Chloe go to Pottsylvania along with Rocky Bullwinkle Dudley Do-Right and all the rest of the gang to get her brother back! But little did they realize that Boris and Natasha were on their trail! This Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon is the one I call Rocky and Bullwinkle moose mysteries or squirrel secrets!? Pretty cool huh!?

4:29-4:37 This is what they should’ve done with gravity falls with cliffhangers for dreamscappers not what he seems or dipper and Mabel vs the future since there was no recap even the simpsons who shot mr burns

6:26 Okay, this joke actually made me smile. (Also, if I had a nickel for everytime I saw a villain animated by DreamWorks with a mount made especially for an anthropomorphic animal they've been devoted to kill, I'd have two nickels which isnt a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice).

I haven't realised that DreamWorks has owns the rights of Rocky and Bullwinkle characters and now NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast has owns the rights of the franchise after their 2016 acquisition of DreamWorks Animation. Anyway I think I've seen it on KZread before and it's kinda ridiculous but it's alright for myself.
