Cooldown is one thing. Then you have the “having to wait until they finish talking” thing, which we’ve seen in starting up the casino heist, as well as more recently, every time you pick a bounty mission.

I expected little but they went under those expectations. No police style outfits or anything that really fits the theme, there's no missions where we chase people in the police car or anything like that. There's not that many quality of life changes either. But I'm at the point where if it gets us gta 6 sooner and not pushed back then ok, I'm fine with it.

Let me stop you there. This dlc has nothing to do with cops. Yes you are capturing criminals but you're not officially a police officer and with dispatch missions given that police department is very corrupt and knows that you fucked with their shit with the cluckin bell raid they wont ever allow you to be cop. Ever. That aside it would been nice to have cop outfits but i guess rockstar just doesn't want that to happen. This is not dlc that people think it is with cops and crooks. I feel bad for those who fool themselves to think a dlc that is about bounty hunting has something to do with cops. They do work with cops but its more that bail workers ask for cops help not other way around when catching runners. Sorry for rant here it just ticks me off when people keep mentioning something that's not even remotely true and was not ever going to happen with dlc that barely show anything cop related beside cop cars

At least the bottom of the barell has a positive effect, this dlc not only is it dissapointing but its also downright offensive, we now have cooldowns on towtruck missions, and they removed the hat+mask outfit glitch which has been in the game for over 5 years, we would have been better off with no DLC i tell you that much

I don’t understand how someone at Rockstar played some of these and thought « that’s fun ». Like running around the Richard’s majestic studios on foot for 15 minutes. Or driving from Paleto to Vinewood with a not upgraded burrito van.

There is a cooldown from 5 to 10 minutes on all small missions. For example, Mrs Baker and Payphone Hits. Payphone Hits were 48 minutes before, which was completely stupid. So this is nothing new and was expected. R* still wants to force people to buy Shark Cards. They even took half of vehicles away for the new consoles. Making people purchase more shark cards so they can buy the cars in time before they are gone again. Yeah, you can trade cars and so on. But if you are busy with work and life, you don't really get time to chase people around and hope they have the car that you really want. It's just a money grab before GTA 6 releases. Then, make millions from GTA 6 sales.

What was the purpose of putting the tow truck mission in the slavage yard on cooldown?? Its just two fetch and bring back missions and you still have to wait until those cars are stripped before the mission can be done again..just stupid but that's how i feel about putting content on cooldowns in general.

The cooldowns are here to keep us from playing the entire DLC content in one day and make it seem like there is actually some new things to do for the next 6 months

Wrong, cool downs are intended to make money farming this DLC as difficult as possible.

The most perplexing thing they did imo was putting a cooldown on Tow missions. You can only do two of them an hour so there is already a built in cooldown for them. The payouts for the normal bounties are also way too low for the amount of time and work involved. I pretty much stopped playing the new content already, and it's only been 4 days. Once I get all the medals I'll probably stop doing them completely outside of bonus money weeks.

Honestly what makes me mad the most about this dlc is that it could’ve been awesome. Like we’ve had bounty hunting in RDO for a while now, so having it in gta is a neat concept. But that’s the thing, the concept is probably the only good thing about it. From the execution onwards, it’s just ass. Extremely overpriced vehicles and a business that’ll take you forever to make back the money you paid for it because the payouts are dogshit, unnecessary cooldowns that exist just to slow down the already slow money grind to encourage players to blow money on shark cards, and even going as far as to patch harmless things like the clothing merge glitch while godmode exploits continue to exist and run roughshot. Not only that, but now they’re locking basic QOL features behind the GTA+ subscription, like being able to claim the profits from your business without having to actually go to them. It’s bad enough they’ve removed already existing content and locked it behind paywalls, now they’re taking features that shouldn’t be exclusive and making you pay for them. What stings the most about this is that, no matter how much you wanna sugarcoat it, what’s happening to GTAO right now is gonna be GTA 6’s fate. They’re just gonna continue doing all the crap we’re complaining about right now, because they know that there’s still gonna be that dedicated group of fanboys who will eat up whatever they do, no matter how much they get scammed or screwed over. People will say GTA 6 is “the game of the decade” or “it’s the best open world game in the history of gaming”, and nothing is going to change. But hey, if I’m wrong then I’ll gladly eat my own words. But judging how things are going right now, my hopes aren’t exactly high.

This is why i feel no guilt when i do the selling car salvage yard glitch where i can replay the mission as many times as i want and sell the 400,000 dollar car with no repercussions

I like to go and collect things and bring therm back to basecamp. back and forth all day. pick up drop off pick up drop off, thats why i like gta, its pure pick up and drop off. Cant wait for gta6.

Since the update was released there has been so many bugs that effect the spawn of personal vehicles, driving a personal car in the car meet, character Not able to get into a car/ car not starting, going into the elevator in the ageny to the garage will spawn you outside, the list is endless

This update is one of the worst updates if not the worst update ever this was horrible I can't believe we waited 6 months for this

@@Neck-snapper Compare this DLC to other dlcs such as the Casino update back in 2019. It added the casino, a handful of cars and patches and some missions. What did bottom dollar bounties add? It added the bounties business, A complete handful of cars which weren't drip feed (there are a total of 6 drip feed vehicles), missions, dispatch work with existing purchasable cop cars and newly added ones, 4 new cop cars (one is drip-feed) Look back on other DLC's and you'll see that Bottom Dollar Bounties isn't that bad. You just have extremely high expectations for a game that is 11 years old, and about to hit 12.

You forgot to mention the fabulous payout grind to get the Agents $1 Million completed

this game really is the epitome of "you can't do that" when there is already so many things you should be able to do but just can't. in my situations, you can't paint stock rims still, you can't apply crew colors over textures except for chrome still...for some reason. you can't mix clothing up, like having racing gloves with racing suits, or hats and masks/glasses because "this clothing item isn't compatible with your outfit" even though there are literal clothing outfits cockstar made for previous DLCs (like how Doomsday heist had combat vests on jackets, utility shirts, etc, eventually making it possible with Cayo Perico heist several years later). Its so dumb that cockstar is restricting so many things that should just be possible normally. And even patching glitches that make that possible(old glitch for applying crew colors over matte or metal on PS3/XBOX360), patching the hat & mask telescope glitch thats been in the game since launch. And then there's even other things, like originally restricting low grips and interaction menu stance to the tuner cars, never adding any more cars to that list, and eventually making low grips available to all cars 1-2 years later. And never bringing back interaction menu stance. Even if it doesn't make sense for some cars to have it, it would still be nice to have the OPTION to do it. ridiculous.

All they add for the past 3 years in rdo and gtao is recycled content, and UI screens.

The frustrating bit is that they already found "good" ways to do cooldowns, where players won't even notice them. Before they added the 5 minute cooldown on tow truck missions, you were already rate limited anyway, your salvage yard only has the capacity for 2 cars which take a while to break down. And that's fine! If they desperately want to put cooldowns in the game, give good reasons for it. Make them feel natural instead of arbitrary.

If they completely removed the cooldown for these $35k normal bounties (which means it would refreshes the bounty list once you captured all 3) if you were to keep spamming these bounty missions for 1 hour straight, it would earn you around $600k an hour, which is a perfect amount of payout compared to the newer money making businesses. Sure it’s not a Dr Dre / Cayo Perico killer, but more of something different to play. Same goes with most wanted, refreshing the target every 2-3 hours is perfect to earn 800k. But when we’re talking about 100k-200k every hour, it might be on par with the Gerald & Martin Madrazo contact missions.

Disappoint I guess people forgot about the hanger how you can't own all the aircraft but when it comes to owning Pegasus you can own every bit of it

I'm always impressed by just how much disappointment rockstar seems to pack into these DLCs.

Zero resell value on the police vehicles is absurd af. Better make sure you actually have a use for those overpriced things. Once you buy them you are stuck with them.

If payouts weren't so shitty I'd like to think everyone would not think it's a bad DLC. We all should know by now that GTA(V) Online is about as good as it's going to get with DLCs. Unless we finally get a Michael DLC they are going to be mid. The last good one I can think of was the acid lab. But it was something that we all only played for 1 playthrough and never went back(even with 2x pay it isn't worth playing). A lot of people complaining about it but unfortunately it is a free DLC. We literally paid absolutely nothing for this. Rockstar isn't putting the A team on this version of GTA anymore. This is their B & C teams on it and keeping the top ones working on 6. If this DLC would have blown the doors off the game & it came out that GTA6 got delayed by even a month everyone would have complained about "well why did they put so much effort in to 5-online when 6 should have been the priority" This is just my thoughts on it. The same people complaining about free mid DLCs are the same ones spending $70+ every year for the new 2k games when it's the same exact game with slight changes and don't even talk about how dumb that is. We got a new business and characters. My one negative about it is the price of vehicles these days... $5m for a police car and were only getting less than $40k for bounties & $20k?(I don't have a police car so I'm not sure) for police missions.

I hate that the Bail vest and badge is a Career progress outfit and not clothing items I hate the lack of arm protection and being locked into outfits

The nerfing of drift cars has ruined my enjoyment of drifting, the drift cars are gutless in freemode now making smooth tranistions with impressive angles and speed no longer possible, the Cypher drift tune is DOA due to this, its truly awful, might be a bit dramatic but honestly its something i spent a lot of time doing just drifting and making friends that way and the nerf to something that just didnt need changing has come at the cost of my enjoyment. I havent loded the game up since day one of the DLC, i hope they fix this, even just in freemode only.

Your becoming one of my favorite content creators you dont mind telling the truth and not sound like a god damn rockstar employeee most of them lick rocmstars arse and refuse to say anything negative about the game

Oh dear, i haven't started the new crap, cause i knew, there is something wrong with it. And let's be honest, GTA 6 will start at that point, where GTA 5 ended. We will have low payouts and normal prices, or we will have high payouts, and pay 20k for a damn t-shirt. Really guys, f**k that crap and play something else. I wonder why they removed all the custom parts for the bailhunter van. In the cops dlc was way more custom options available. And there is a lot of missing content on pc, compared to the console versions.

I think... that the Bounty Bail Office computer monitor has a desktop background picture of a GTA:6 location... Specifically, the area where they both kick open that store door with the "Petty Forever" sticker. The area behind Lucia and Jason looks similar to the desktop picture on the bail office computer in gta online Or maybe its RDR2 screenshots, they did that with the Agency computers Hmmm...

I think the only thing that could improve this update is every few months get occasional new standard and high level bounties

I expected the bounties to be like 50k to add to my 50k grinds, but atleast ive made 5M so far...

Yup the Cool Down was a killer... I did day one and looked at what I get in Career and was like meh, and logged out. Did not even return, the next day. Darktide was more interesting... 4.5 Million dollars, not worth it with the payout. Did one LSPD, mission was very boring.

There will be a cool-down for GTA 6. You can install it but you can’t play it for 360 hours. Unless you have GTA Plus With $50 billion in your real bank account and a PS5.

That's really the question here: Does this half-arsed content mean GTAVI will be better, or will it just be the accumulation of the worst tactics R* has tried in the past decade?

i was more thrilled about a business being 2x money for a week than this

it's something new I suppose. it's not great but it's not annoying either. The Pay is Garbage but that's typical. I think like a team of 5 people probably made this. I hate how they gave the Salvage Yard Tow Truck a Cooldown it just seems stupid. it was convenient to be able to just do two Back to Back and leave to let the cars get disassembled.

The problem is we have so many different content creators wanting different things that are just ruining the game. For instance, we should have to play in a lobby with other people. Otherwise, what's the point? The kd got removed. The game is moving away from what it was a brilliant game. Now, there is no challenge, and the game feels basically pointless and woke....

I'm interested in what they will add to the Winter DLC, will it be Big DLC or small.

its was nice for like 3 days, and now im out and gonna come back for the next update...

I've been playing since day one and this dlc was OK not enough to keep me hooked. I've been playing other games over last year or so came back for this played it for 3 days and back to other games now

Let's not forget to mention of the aircraft carrier why couldn't we have taken this Perico Island or seeing that the aircraft carrier was used in a previous GTA why couldn't that have been used for Act 2

I have been scammed on these Most Wanted Bounties I have had Grace Whitney twice & Brock Thompson twice, still no Chaz Lieberman

The only thing you have to do is do another mission and then you can go right back to the mission after it cool Downs that's it I done it so many times I don't see nothing wrong with it

I actually think the Mission are some fun, ofcourse its Not a good dlc by any means but its Not at Bad AS people say IT IS, its alright

I agree the legendary bounties are much better! They actually run and make you catch them unlike these where they sit there like a sitting duck. You can also get multiple bounties at a time in rdr2 online.

I redid a most wanted bounty Grace Whitney I brought her in alive the first time on day one of the dlc and the second time I just wanted to see what happened if I eliminated her upon completion of the second time around it removed my check mark from my career challenge but left my award for get Whitney. I tried to submit a ticket to Rockstar but they don't know how to fix it kept telling me to clear my cache, unlink my account, switch sessions. WTF knowing Good and well that none of that would work. I finally said I guess I just have to wait until she comes around again and hopefully it rechecks off the box, they wrote back glad we could be of assistance your problem has been marked as solved 😒. Has anyone else had this issue? It doesn't appear to affect regular bounties because I did the same thing for them and it did not uncheck the box but from now on I'm bringing them all in alive just to be safe.
