Thanks for doing this one - we were supposed to stop at rock hound on our way back from the balloon festival - but unfortunately got sick and didn't make it. Looks like a great please to hang out. The winery looks great too - we will check them out when passing through. Great job guys - very entertaining!

We stayed at Lescombes one year on the way to Texas Rangers spring training. A sand storm hit and it was crazy! Couldn’t see the mountains after it started. Glad you got out before the wind started. Great video!

That has always been one of our concerns. Arriving and someone is broken down or us breaking down and not able to leave.

I’ve never understood even why truck drivers block the lanes at those stations, especially the RVers!! We never do that! Oh dang, glad they had another site for you, even though it wasn’t maybe the best site! Do you find a lot of sand spurs in the desert…I wonder about it for the dogs especially. The winery looked really nice!

The truck lanes are not to be blocked and once fueled up, then pull ahead and clear the pump. It is madding when you are stuck in the line and pumps are blocked! But an RVer does it and pisses the truck drivers off a lot!! We got lucky and got a nicer site!! The sand burs have been bad in New Mexico and Arizona! Maya stops and picks up her paw 🐾 with the one that has them for us to get them out now! She had some good ones yesterday- 😢 . Thanks- Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya

Sorry that someone was in your site. Happened to us once. The people were out exploring and said they lost track of time lol. Ok Joel every time I see a pineapple now I’ll think of you AND it will my new name for round cactus 😂

That's weird and no explanation is rude! Ours was obvious, but found out that it was brought in at 1 am by a tow company, had no reservations and just left it there. The State Park had it removed after a couple of days. Thanks for the birthday wishes! Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya

Yes- we spent $40 for a week stay there- We bought the New Mexico State Park Pass and it gives a discount on camping. It was worth getting the pass as we did six weeks at six different parks! It was a money saver and got to see some amazing places! Thanks- Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya

Dang it! Right in the middle KZread threw me out. I make comments as I go so now I have to remember what I wrote. 😂😂. Rockhound State Park looks really nice for hiking with the benches and all. Being in a host site means it was probably one of the nicer sites; except for the dump station. Adobe Deli looked like a great place to eat. Bill would definitely need that rueben, and I would want that soup. Splitting was a good call. The winery looks really nice. I loved Jumanji too, but I'm definitely older than you so it wasn't a childhood movie. 😂. Be safe, Bill and DeAnna
