1st Fish of 2022, coming in hot🔥🥵
Struggled this morning, but made it on the water to throw artificial’s for over 2 hours with out even a nibble.
Decided to cross the creek, take a break, have a snack and switch up lures.
I tied on a “Red Daddy” spinner bait, I received in my stocking at Christmas from my wife, and within 10 casts was hooked up.
This nice Rock was hanging under a dock in about 4-5ft of water, and slammed the spinner as I retrieved it next to his hideout. Fully committed and got a solid hook set. Almost pulled me into the dock, trying to break me off.
After a short, tough fight, took a quick pic, she was revived and released.
