Thanks for sharing; I've been following this idea with you for a while but I feel like I'm too much of a beginner to pull it off. I've been experimenting with shaman and spellblade trying to find a play style I enjoy

Been following this, cool build! I do wish Avalanche had a slightly more flashy animation though, it is a bit tame.

I haven't been playing a huge amount so I'm still on my thorns build at like level 65 or so but damn this looks crazy. I just need to farm for all the gear at some point. For a casual like me it seems pretty crazy anyway as I was only able to get to about 400-450 corruption last cycle before quitting so if I could even get to a similar corruption level this cycle then I'd be pretty happy tbh.

I’m currently using earthquake because I don’t have avalanche quite yet but it looks like that’s the direction I’m going soon

Started out with this build, but it's a shame about the mana management. Couldn't get past the 6ish seconds of downtime when using spriggan form :/ Loved the thematics of the build tho

I'm a bit confused as to how spriggan form recovers mana. What's the mechanic that gives that 100 mana per second mentioned in the video? Edit: Nvm, i had a shaman in legacy and tried it, i get it now, it keeps your rage percent as mana percent when you turn back.

you enter spriggan form, then exit it as fast as you can with the cooldown. and spriggan form will set your mana to the spriggan energy you had in the form effectively giving you a full mana bar again.

what's the gathering storm skill for? do you get storm stacks in any way?

Hi, i am about to try your Build and while copying the Passives i noticed something. In the Shaman Passive Tree you have 4 Points in "Fist of Stone", i assume to activate its 4 Point Bonus? But then you dont meet the Requirements of that said Bonus which is overcapped Endurance, also the Bonus gives Health Regen which is disabled by the Amulett. But Build looks great so far, thx for putting it online. I am excited to try it!

I copied your build and I'm having so much fun. Currently at around 325 corruption and I have no trouble clearing up monos. The only problem I'm having now is the Conundrum amulet. It works fine in monos but I constantly die to certain harbingers (the ones that dash around) because it's hard to land avalanche shots with the boss mechanics and I can't get my health back up with the Conundrum amulet. Should I swap out a different amulet for boss fights or am I missing some other health regen solutions? I also want to point out this build is not optimal for controller play as it's easy to miss Avalanche shots when dodging the boss mechanics.

I'm playing "Solo AF", can you give any advice on how to farm the gear, especially the uniques?

Quick question, why do you pick Eterra's Path for the boots? Just for the healing effectiveness?

Probably but I would try to get a decent amount of HP. I think you eventually want to run something similar but it can be a primalist body armor with exalted HP or something.

he says he uses spriggan form to regen mana, ive looked at the shaman tree the spriggan tree I cant work out how this mechanic works. why does spriggan form regen mana to full ?

There is no node for that, it is just how it works (not sure if intended). If you actively exit spriggan form with full mana it will carry to your mana pool in normal form

no the person dropped it from nemesis (as it has nemesis only mods, the sealed t4 and 2 exalted prefixes) dropped it from him, and then put it up for sale!

Just too much screen clutter for me but looks like a cool build!

problem with these builds is the nuanced ways of needing to make them work. IE: like the spriggan form portion of it. Just feels very "hacky"

@@Dr3adful Absolutely, and props to you for figuring out something that is actually able to do this. But for myself, the nuances to the necessary gameplay mechanics would make this more work to play, than fun to play unfortunately. Devs should be focusing on allowing for builds that dont requiring annoying elements (like having to use spriggan form to deal with mana issues) in order for them to be playable.

I'm playing a cold version focusing on raw damage (war cry for massive damage buff, full damage focus in avalanche tree) instead of spriggan + gathering storm and it's working more than fine. I can't spam avalanche for prolonged times but that doesn't matter when the damage is so massive you don't ever need to.

@@DugFromTheEarth in theory the way to get around this would be to focus on the channeling version with EQ and aftershocks, but I am not entirely sure how that feels obviously as you are required to stand still for it, and I rated Standing Still worse than Spriggan Form
