This is one thing i would never have enough courage to do this eric is the man. Bigger ones then i have .

German WW II tech. The most expensive stuff for that ride is the 100% concentrate hydrogen peroxide,,or H-STOF as the germans called it. It is spat at high pressure onto a silver screen catalyst mesh, to produce steam. The medical use hydrogen peroxide for scrubbing wounds is 3% concentrate. Plenty of drag race rocket cars and bikes when accessibility to that fuel was plentiful back in the 50's and 60's. Even hydrogen peroxide drag race go-karts,,during the go-kart era. Still amazing to see that someone wants to play with that incredibly dangerous stuff that will cause your bare skin to burst into flames at 100% concentrate. Thanks for the vid CD,, even if it was 2019.

@@bestplayer2977 That's not an assumption. That's a theory. You don't really need to travel at the speed of light to travel through the time dimension. Every time you change your position, even at a normal speed, you travel into future relative to someone at rest. Of course, the time difference will be very insignificant in that case but as your speed increases and approaches the speed of light, that time difference will become wider and wider.

In the eighties I saw Henk Vink on a similar bike and Sammy Miller in his rocket car on Zandvoort circuit. Henk was the "inventor" of the hydrogen peroxide bike and was the fastest man then. Nice to see Eric Teboul doing this. Mabey I think he was inspired by those early time heroes.

In the early 1970s at the gators i saw a very small 4 wheeled hotrod running on hydrogen peroxide doing around 300mph in the 1320, extremely fast for the time. The last run a gust of wind caught it in the traps & it hit the guard rail. It vaporized on contact. It took crew workers 2 hrs picking up pieces with garbage bags.

I was also there-it was a jet car sponsored by the Navy. Don Prudhomme was at the race-so was Cha Cha Muldowney. Prudhomme's funny car blew and the body came off and flew up about 100 feet. The jet car driver turn in the 3's- I saw the car veer to the left and it crashed. I am not sure-but it seems his name was Gomez.

A wet track? Seems so DANGEROUS!!! I love all the MOTORHEADS! Even the little mini bike riders. Theyare SO CUTE. And the TF dragsters-whew oh!

I've seen Eric a few times at Santa Pod including this run. Amazing.

He’s a tough interview! What a ride. Saw him in Bradenton, I think it was a 5.8x pass - amazing when you consider he runs out of fuel around the eighth. Good job Jack.

1 I think that is amazing, but not sure I’d consider a non-combustion thrust to be truly a rocket powered vehicle. The compression drive forces are essentially the same, so maybe that’s why they call it a rocket. I could be wrong in defining it, but I’m not so sure I am. 2 Those speeds and acceleration he achieves with hydrogen peroxide truly is incredible. 3 I don’t get the part about it has to be just enough propellant so he doesn’t go past the track, and here’s why- I can see he does not have it, but you can’t tell me that the thrusters couldn’t have a mechanical switch that would change the thrust direction to shoot the remainder 45-60 degrees outward, which would slow it significantly. Think of a thrust vectoring jet that vectored the thrusters outward and opposite each other. The jet would slow and stall out. Now, it might crush inward and destroy the airframe, but that is not a jet airplane, it’s a light bike. There would have to be a way to engineer that safely. 4 Still fricken awesome.

Announcer asked, "Would you be willing to do this?" My answer is definitely not!!! This guy is absolutely nuts but I guess you would have to be in order to do it. Congratulations on your record run.

I had the privilege of meeting and watching the late great Henk Vink on his rocket bike. He had white spots all the way up his leathers from the peroxide!

His World record E.T is 5.12 (264mph) - set at The Haltech world finals 5 years ago. His 5.19 and his 281mph runs I saw in person having watched him over the years at Santa Pod raceway, UK.

At first I thought, "Yabut, 7 minutes 34 seconds for a 5.58 second run"? Watched it and it's an awesome vid! Even the narrator did a great job. The delicate balance between keeping your attention & too much sensationalism. This rider has nads!
