"up to 130 ping for the kickoff" And that, sir, is a good day for me lately. I don't know if it's happening to anyone else, but I've also been noticing some games where the ping seems okay up until I engage with the ball, or the other team is coming in and I am defending the goal. Suddenly, I have high triple digit ping. Ping restores only if the other team scores a goal, Or a good 5 to 10 seconds passes. My wife will hear me swear and ask what's happening and I tell her "nothing, I'm just playing the game live in the instant replay".

i saw a vid abt cod where it was talking about how match making was rigged and how if you did good or performed well it would purposefully make you lose after a few games, like if someone wins the first 2 games on comp then the game would give them better players while increasing their ping. it also did this for players who put alot of money in the game but in a different way that makes it so they go against bad or high ping players to make it so they stay on the game longer. either way it might just be rocket leagues garb servers

Yep I have two crazy replays. I scored two goals in my screen but the replay said the other guy did. The servers have been so bad the last 2 days it is almost unplayable

i havent had an issue really until a few nights ago then me and my brother went to play and every game we basically were 200+ ping which is insane for the internet we have, i have no issues with any other game tho ping wise

anyone else have this thing where every other game, randomy during the match you completely lag out and get all the sign errors and that lasts from 5-10 seconds? if so then i need a fix cuz its been causing me to lose so many games

Yeah I’ve missed entire kickoffs. By the time my game started i literally got scored on. Other times very late starts

I just play casual and it seems like 50% of the games somebody has this kind of ping where it goes green-yellow-maybe red, I haven't had it yet for some reason

It’s been happening to me a lot lately. I was starting to get convinced I was getting ddossed lol, I’m only c2. But, lately servers have been dying on me

literally hopped on for the new season, figured i was gonna have issues with the servers so i played non ranked and yeah started disconnecting me right away! i hate that nobody is making videos about this issue

I had about 4 or 5 games in a row disconnect. It's rough out here.

the servers are bad but when its like this its on your side. i had similar issues with fluctuating ping. theres a chance it might be bandwith related

what i've noticed is the servers are worst on ranked ones servers, it's happened to me a lot in 3s and 1s in ranked but mostly 1s

the servers are so ass, it may sound stupid, but i fell from Gc2 to c3 ONLY because of lag. i don't use it as an excuse it's just reality. i can't even air dribble the ball because as soon you have multiple touches on the ball, it just lags and the ball behaves weird

You could win if you use you boost wisely your using it just to be next to him, play it safe always and catch him off guard or see an opening

ever since they dropped central servers. the game has been so laggy. I'm using Xfinity Wi-Fi 1GB there's no reason I should be at 200 ping and wired. I was thinking it was my PC then my provider. but I realized that its only rocket league. The game has become so unplayable. so, I just gave up on it today. RIP RL

I do not know why it lags so much when your Wi-Fi is good. Like is that the server or something I don't know but kind of feel like I'll do 12 times better if I was n't lagging so much and some of my games are like every other game to be exact

Rocket league servers have been not too great for a lot of my games. It really gets bad when I start getting package loss and what I think a lot of touches are, are actually end up being misses. The lag really has been bad.

If you are on Central servers, then I feel better, too. I thought my router was messed up b/c my ping is allll over the place. I usually never lag. But your Ping/latency was the same as mine has been. SO...um..c'mon Epic. Fix this crap. Great vid regardless Jack. Hope you and the boys are doing well in scrimms, too...win London, baby.

I used to play on US east and west no problem. Ever since they dropped the central servers it is hit or miss whether I have good or bad ping. 100% not my internet and no other game has issues. Just random servers I play with 130ish ping the whole time. I feel bad when I see other players affected by the same thing. Makes me not want to play. RL FIX THE SERVERS!!!!

It's not your internet. Servers have been getting worse and worse since Epic took over years ago

I swear every game I played the other day my ping would be at 40 and just gradually go up to 120-140 and then back down and then back up. Thought it was my internet, but this makes me think otherwise

US central is unplayable. My ping is at a constant 200 but I have high speed gigabit and normally a constant 300mbps and 40 Mbps on my Xbox. The only game I have issues on is Rocket League.

they havent even tried to put more servers in operation, many regions are just too far away from certain cities and they dont do absolutly nothing about it... just keep making lame additions to the game

At this point I think it's the game breaking. A game can't run in such an old engine for so many years without having game breaking bugs. Just look at Fallout, CoD, Battlefield games rilunning on dinosaur engines and having constant game breaking glitches.

Remove the highlights at the start it makes no sense.
