Love the content man
Zeig - enjoy your videos because I just got my first Rocket 3, an '06 Classic and loving it every time I ride. No issues with any gaskets falling out so far but after watching you against that sport bike at end of this video, now I know why you've had to replace so many! Holy shit!
Good video🤜🏽
Thank you for the update bud. I appreciate it 👍

Thank you!! I love the rocket
Hi Ziegler!!! I'm on my 2nd too. My 1st was a roadster of 2010, had ramair, cross pipe, TORS, tune and upgrade spring forks. It was a beast, but I have some issues that made me sell it. Sometimes stalled when pull clutch lever, too. My 2nd one is a Rocket X of 2015, is stock but with TORS. Someday I will upgrade fork springs, because the originals are too soft. I have everything to upgrade the beast (Ramair, PowerComander V, etc), but I know I will reduce the stock fuel range that I have now. Your Rocket still stock? Are you thinking about doing upgrades like in your old one? Keep on rolling!!!!!
on my 4th casket and thankfully its holding strong; had my R3R since 2015 i thought about trading it in but there is something that makes me want to never part with this bike almost 51k miles on it. The stock suspension isn't great but the road presence is definitely there cars see this bike and they actually get out of my way. Oil i'm using in 10/40 7100 Motul and try to use no ethenol gas. The rear tire will need replaced every riding season

I love my rocket brother
Any have a internal coolant leak? Have coolant in my oil. Hoping it’s a water pump bearing seal allowing coolant in .
I have a 98 Triumph Thunderbird Sport and go on long distance rides (1400 mile trips on east coast). The wind kicks my butt since bike is light and has a tiny wind deflector. How’s the Rocket 3 on long distance highway riding, in terms of, wind at high speeds? Thinking about searching for 2018 Rocket 3 based on your review.
In which gear would you say you normally shift at for the RPM range? I mean for 2016 model roadster would Up shifting when reaching 3000 rpms be too soon I'm too afraid to redline mine because it seems like the engine gets so loud even at 3000 rpm is it safe to go to 4000

Question 1: I'm not sure exactly what you're asking or what answer you're seeking, but I'll try to answer here. Your shift points depend whether you're seeking performance or economy, city or highway driving. Around town, shifting around 3000 RPM is quite conservative. For rapid acceleration like entering an expressway or interstate, shifting around 5000 to 5500 RPM will get you up to speed quite rapidly without harming anything. Questions 2 and 3: Upshifting at 3000 Is actually quite conservative. Your torque peak on the Roadster is at 2750 RPM, peak horsepower is at 5750 RPM, and your redline is at 6500 RPM where the rev limiter cuts in. I've seen supercharged Rockets rev past 8000 RPM, so 4000 RPM is PLENTY safe. The Rocket III engine is a fairly short stroke engine (3.71") compared to Harley Davidson (4.5") and thrives on higher revs. I hope
Even though it's a 5 speed are the rpm's low at 75-80? I would think a 2300 would be very low.

Yes! At 75 mph she’s purring in fifth and at 90 mph she’s just over 3k rpm gently hummin 🙌

@@ZieglerMonster Man I have a few used ones selling for $9000.00 and under 10,000 miles. I'm so temped to buy one. My wife likes to ride with me, so how's the suspension when riding 2up? I would love to have one in the stable.
