This is most definitely the model I would buy. The colour match is just so very perfect with the lines of the arches. Awesome.

People doubt the accuracy of this build in acceleration measurement option. RS7 measurements were pretty accurate I believe.

Since I own a B7 RS4, I can tell you that it;s like.a modern version of a B5 S4 more. The B7 is a V8, this is a singing iconic 5 cylinder.

Mk8 Golf R is advertised 0-62 at 4.7 and been doing 0-60 in 4.0x. Wouldn't be surprised if Audi has similar results with under-estimating their times, especially if Audi's claim of 0-100 (62) is 3.8, then I could see a 0-60 in 3.1 under ideal conditions. Regardless, it should be a high 2 with a tune.

All of the sudden the new RS3 will now be compared with the upcoming C63AMGs instead of the RS6?

Maybe the quantity of oxygen on the atmosphere. However maybe he has different tires or the tires in this video where warm and also the engine.

He’s using the on board timer. It’s a bit more generous here for some reason it seems. I know even with the rs7 when carwow did a test launch comparing the on board timer and a 3rd party it was only like .1 sec difference so idk why it’s so much here. This car cannot do 3.1 stock.

@@leeeinfield Maybe it is a bit more generous. However Audi always claims a slower time than the real one like with the RS Etron it says it does 3.9 s but some videos have gotten 2.9 or even 2.8 so I think the Audi times can be better than the ones claimed.

@@diegolpmn9973 the claimed 0-60 for the rs gt etron is 3.1 official. So it’s realist for it to get just under that. But to claim 3.8 and get 3.1 is not realistic.

@@leeeinfield That must be it, and it's very generous indeed. I would trust the Carwow and similar tests over this one as they use specialized timing gear. Zero possibility of a stock RS3 doing a 3.1 as you say!

Because they're measuring the time properly, using an independent device - what you see on the car's display is wrong. If my RS does 60mph in 3.1 secs (when it finally arrives), I'll eat my socks.

@@Auditographyfir insurance, you just need to declare it as a mod. In uk though it'll fail the mot. In uk, you won't get a fine from eu. Plus it'll invalidate your warranty for most things, not all eg stereo or non engine components will still be covered. Things that won't be covered will be eg engine, gearbox, brakes, 4x4 system

"Dashed" headlight/taillight design sucks. Other than that its cool.

0-60 downhill is pointless and doesn’t count. Looks great in green.

Come on cryptocurrency. Make me rich enough to buy the new RS3. Just imagine a stage 1 tune or even a stage 2 tune. Be close to 500bhp.

Will be way more than that at stage 2, nearer 530bhp. Stage 1 on this opf will be 480bhp. Previous gen pre opf are more tuneable though stage 1 is about 500bhp, stage 2 560bhp. I know as I have one.

The timer in the new RS3 has already proven to be off compared to race box or draggy. Doubt that 3.1 is precise
