rocker arms falling off fix rockerlocks.com

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Rocker locks are a spring clip designed to hold the rocker arms in place on the Dodge Ram, Durango, Dakota & Jeep 4.7 V8 and the 3.7 V6, to alleviate the problem of falling rockers. This is a non moving part it just sits on the rocker arm & moves with it & holds the rocker arm in place.
I had this problem with my 03 Ram 4.7 & found out after calling around all the way to Chrysler corp that no one had a fix for it. So I set out to find one & I did, I designed a spring clip & put it on the 2 rockers [that fell off 3 times in 3 weeks]. I have had no problem since I installed the rockerlocks, The rockerlocks have been on now for about 4 months & 5,000 miles , the rocker arms are still on with no problems, these really work. It's now been about 6 months & around 8,000 thousand miles still running with no problems. Call me today if you are having problems or have questions, I now have my patent and am ready to sell & to help others with this problem. Let me help you save your truck as I did mine. Without these rocker locks my truck was junk. They saved my truck that I love and they are very affordable. Price is $15.00 ea or $12.00 ea in a full set. For a set of 12 for 3.7v6 or 16 for 4.7v8. That's only $144.00 or $192.00 a set. This is a very low price to pay to save your beautiful truck and to get you on the road again. It cost me much more developing these for my truck & worth every penny.I've been told it costs about $1,500.00 to have your heads rebuilt & almost always the same problem still persists. Call today be back on the road in no time. Any questions call Jim 816-274-2730. Feel free to leave a message if I no answer feel free to go email [rockerlocks1@gmail.com] & leave comments or questions on the product. I guarantee these really work. This is the [best & only way] on how to fix rocker arms falling off that I have found [actually the only way]. Over 10,000 miles and counting and still running strong. I actually used a body clip and ground it down to fit the rocker arm a little better but basically the same exact idea as yours. It works 100% I have been running mine for about 2 years with them and have not had one pop off yet.

    Hey Jim I have altis 1.6 manual transmission 2012 model. Last week I put it in 4 gear and all of a sudden a very loud noise came and the engine died. I towed it to Toyota dealership where they checked the engine compression which was 0 in 3 cylinders. They took the tappet cover off and there were 7 rockers lying in the engine out of 16 rockers. I had put a cold air intake, 6 puck clutch, straight pipe and spark plugs which are all aftermarket things and not genuine. I did this to increase acceleration of my car. Can you tell why did the rockers fall and if I now race my car will they fall again? I have never experienced this before in any altis 1zr fe engine. Can you please help me?

    Fantastic idea! well done. I'm all for making a profit but $192.00 for 16? kind of steep don't you think? A thin washer about .085 thick washer under each lifter will work too.

    Those lifters work off oil pressure, if yours are falling off all the time I would be checking oil pressures

  • @user-pg9hk3dn8z

    @user-pg9hk3dn8z

    11 ай бұрын

    Has nothing to do with oil pressure it is caused by lifter sticking a fraction of a second and the rocker arm has nothing to keep it in place ( poor design) usually starts around 100,000 miles and most often on a cold start when motor has sat for a few days that lifter sticks for .01 second and it will pop off. But there is a cheaper way to do this if you are crafty I use a body clip and grind down the hole for the bolt to a large enough hole to allow movement and then grind and smooth all edges .this works great and I have ran mine for 2 years or better and have not lost one yet

    Dirty oil deposits plug the lash adjusters from lack of oil changes. Thus, making the rockers loose. you could clean them out? Change the oil?

  • @user-pg9hk3dn8z

    @user-pg9hk3dn8z

    And no this problem has nothing to do with clogged or dirty anything. These rocker arms are designed poorly and have no lip on them to keep them from coming off. All it takes is the lifter to stick a fraction of a second and your rocker arm will be sitting at the bottom of your head when you pull valve covers. Dodge knows this is a common problem with this motor and starts doing this at about 80,000 to 100,000 miles usually on a cold start when sitting for a bit. The oil dries up and when you crank it that lifter sticks for 00.01 second and it will happen

    Let's put this in perspective, you're spending $145 to save from spending $4000. When a rocker pops off and jams up a valve spring, bending the valve and you get to sit by the side of the road with a blown motor wishing you'd spent the $145............
