This song is tribute to John Hinch, the first and only drummer for the “Rocka Rolla” (1974) album. They haven’t play “Rocka Rolla” since ‘75, because fans we’re going insane of the “Sad Wings Of Destiny” (1976) and “Sin After Sin” (1977) albums. Rocka Rolla is still a classic album to listen to, i recommend you guys to listen to it and hear you’re thoughts and opinions about the album. Thank you - Wes.

Rocka Rolla, and Sad Wings are great on their own. A different style than the metal into which the Priest transitioned, but brilliant never the less.

Rocka Rolla stands on its own. A great debut, but often overlooked because it has a bluesier feel. Everything afterwards was a natural progression into the Priest we know and love now

I met Rob in 1990. I asked him why dont play rocka rolla he said nobody would know it. Well all the video going up of this song proves him wrong! I just wish they would have included it back then in their prime
Rocka Rolla is certainly different from what you’re used to hearing today, but that record is still pretty good. Run of the Mill is a great song too.

It's always been in my top 3 of all-time Priest recordings. I first had the cassette version with the "winged warrior" on the cover, then in the mid-90s I got a hold of the CD reissue with the "bottle cap" cover and a demo version of their rendition of "Diamonds and Rust" as a bonus track.
I'm 58 got the rocka rolla vinyl back in 1980 still have it still jam it,one for the road is kick ass song too ⚡🎸🤘
I love the fact that they're still playing on a big stage, and not just sleazy little night clubs like so many others.

I was at the st. Louis show the day before Richie's heart blew up on him. Since i got to the gig late they were in the chorus of this sing, bro i was going in with what i could deliver and i couldn't tell you how many of the older fans didn't even know what this song was. Me bieng only 25 compared to the rest of them. It was delightful experience as my 6th priest show
This song should be in every Priest set list!
wow never thought id ever hear this live..
Still gives me goose bumps ever since I was a kid back in the 80s. GOAT.
Scott brings a new dimension to this song. Much heavier and really kicks!!!
Judas Priest in the 70s were really awesome! Especially 'Sad Wings Of Destiny' 1976

Great little Schenker-esque run in the outro by Richie...he's such a perfect guitarist for Priest.
Rob Halford just gets cooler with age! My VOTE goes to Judas Priest for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2022
I am abig big fan especially the early Album RockaRolla, sad wing of destiny Sin and sinner the line up John hinch Glen Tipton, k k downing,Alan Atkins John Ellis and driving force of the two glen and k k vocalist Rob Halford amazing band still going strong wow god bless
🤘🏻 I was at that show and was completely shocked when they played this song.
I love Priest and how they evolved musically. I tell you one song I was head over heels for on Rocka Rolla was Dying to Meet You. I just love the simplicity of the song and the deepness of his vocals.

Lyrics are all in the wrong places. Not sure what happened here.
