@DoggoLmao-he8zr They basically chose the best artstyle for the intro, and those first three movies really had the best of the best.
@frodotronnik_
Ай бұрын
@@thatguybehindtheglass fair, but another fun fact: the same channel that aired this intro never aired the movies if I remember correctly, They had to wait until the resurgence in 2003, where the movies were aired all throughout the month from September 5-26th, which I believe still had it on Cartoon Network, and then another time it was aired on Presidents Day, so the movies were of course not aired in the proper Funimation (Now Crunchyroll sorta) dub, all the Movies had to be bought on dvd, But there was the occasion of Bardock father of goku and history of trunks, they were tv specials, however aired on the DBZ Movies on September 5th, 2003, and History of trunks aired on September 12th 2003. Maybe one day: during Toriyamas birth month we get a DBZ Marathon. I hate to remind people of this since it’s extremely saddening, But rest in power Toriyama, you’re still missed everywhere.
@frodotronnik_

@@carlbloke8797 Yea, it’s just that they always put them in the most inconvenient plot spots (as in parts of the plot: Example: Broly between the Cell Saga) However they were all designed BY Toriyama, but someone else made the story n what not. The only movie that may be partially canon is the OVA: Yo! Son Goku And Friends Return!! Since in contains a new character Tarble: Vegeta’s Brother. And In DBS: Broly, Vegeta talks about a Brother sent off planet, like tarble was Maybe tarble’s real? Maybe it’s a whole other Saiyan Vegeta is talking about.

so cool to see so many animators that i love take part in this! cool knowing that all these animators probably grew up with dragon ball, and is part of the reason why they are where they are today
As a 90s kid I had a massive smile on my face from beginning to end. Seriously guys, life sucks and yet I was just in 4th grade again, watching this on Toonami after school. The Ocean dub voices, that fucking song, you all captured each moment in a unique and fun way. Goku's goofy run at the start made me laugh and I had to try and not pause the vid every few seconds so I could watch the whole thing. From the goofy animations to the people who went ridiculously hard, kudos and congrats on making something so full of love in honor of a man who gave generations one of the greatest anything's to ever exist, Dragonball.
