I remember seeing this dance documentary on PBS. It was called Everybody Dance Now. I recorded this segment, along with the vogueing segment commentated by the late Willie Ninja, from the house of Ninja vogueing crew.

the LA LOCKERS were around in the early 70's. wiggles always gives props to LA for our contribution to street dancing. la and NYC were most definitely the og's.

+DMario Isajurk This clip is from a video that basically chronicles the history of dance as used in music videos. I have a copy with the beginning cut off so I do not know what it is called, but it starts with moves by rock and roll singers in the 1950s and makes its way through to the MTV era. It's an amazing piece of dance history. I have shown it in class every semester for 20 years. lol
