Obvious troll answers aside, I was a little too dumbfounded to speak right. I was too busy trying to make my realistic medically inclined mind wrap around the fact that he was running faster than the eye could blink with what had to be fucking 200+ pounds apiece on his legs. Could you imagine though, what he could do with that plus weighted bandages? Stamina training and weighted punches/kicks aside, the sheer number of options the bandages would give him in midrange combat . . .

I am not an 80's and 90's kid but i still like this kind of Music, very classic and meaningful.

Whenever I see the scene with him training and he's counting his kicks on that tree, I remember a quote from Bruce Lee: I do not fear the man who has practiced a thousand kicks, I fear the man who has practiced one kick a thousand times. Rock Lee had no fancy ninja skills, yet he still became a top ninja, and arguably one of the best pure fighters.

Rock Lee is quite a shinobi. he doesn't have Sharingan nor any other kekkei-genkai. He's no jinchuuriki. And yet he still managed to kick Gaara's ass and was only one small step from defeating him. Even that genius Neji could never match a stunt like that. The moment when Rock Lee went into Estreme Lotus was one of the greatest scenes in this manga. And Neji looking at Rock Lee with eyes wide open and jaw on the floor - that was simply priceless.

Rock Lee is my favorite character from Naruto because he is THE BEST motivator for people who want to do great things but have no talent whatsoever in that area. He shows that you can become great through insanely hard work and great dedication.

Actually, he does use chakra. Please understand the nature of chakra before posting; Lee uses chakra, just raw chakra. He can't mold chakra, but he focuses it into his muscles. From Narutopedia: The Eight Gates are eight specific tenketsu on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to open these gates allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body. The gates flood the body with chakra to give it the energy, like how the first gate gives 100% muscle usage. Because our bodies adapted to a 20 to 30% muscle usage, we have less access to available ATP, and a big problem Lee would face if the chakra didn't provide energy would be lactic acid buildup as he would be forced to get ATP via anaerobic metabolism since he can't breath enough for full aerobic metabolism. BTW, if he didn't have chakra, he would be dead. Chakra is literally life force, sensor shinobi can sense non-shinobi. Most people just have enough chakra for life sustaining, and can't control it. Rock Lee is in the middle, he has shinobi level chakra, but he can't mold it, just focus it to a certain part of his body.

+Alex Kent I really feel that wouldn't work. It would have to be an eighth gate to even touch madara. Other than that, lee's fighting style with the alchol wouldn't fit the fighting style needed to win. He wouldn't know any of the advanced moves gai used in that form either, so he would lose.

seriously, Lee is the reason i still can give this show the benefit of the doubt

anyone who knows this song, and knows naruto and DIDN'T think of this combo is simply lying to themselves.

One of my favorite amvs ever

When Naruto moved away from cool ninja battles and towards stupid op jutsu emotional bullshit, Lee and Shikamarus fights always were always the best. They either had a lot of thought put into them, were just straight up awesome to watch, or a mixture of both. Shame they were pretty much swept under the covers to make room for all the dumb shit that's going on now.

Seriously! Is anyone not a Rock Lee fangirl/fanboy! He is honestly one of the most well executed anime characters I've ever seen. The first time he's introduced, the audience doesn't care for him. the great thing about Lee is that, while he's proving himself to the rest of the cast, he's doing the same to the audience. At first, I wasn't impressed by Lee and all his talk about his nindo... I have rarely been happier to be proven wrong.

I really believe that there should be a Rock Lee spin off series. This may be the whiskey talking, but I like Rock Lee more than Naruto because he has more heart. Just give him a powerup to keep up with naruto. Something exclusive to him. He did show crazy potential in the beginning and was a good rival but was quickly surpassed.

Sometimes i forget just how mush of a BEAST Rock Lee is, but after watching this amv I will never forget again.
