On Sunday 9th June 2024 members of Rock Choir were invited to perform at the annual Race For Life event in West Park, Wolverhampton. As we do not currently have a choir in Wolverhampton, a collective of members from the Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Stafford (Late), Telford, Shrewsbury and Bridgnorth choirs joined together. They were conducted by Stourbridge/Kidderminster leader Paola Olivetti.
We really enjoyed entertaining the runners in this beautiful park, and the various Rockies pulled together well for a gutsy performance, despite being distracted/entertained by squirrels and even a large rat! Thanks to all the Rockies who travelled to the event so that we could sing loud and proud.
