We shoot our rock at the quarry uncovered and if a hole blows out its really exciting. The resident across the highway was not thrilled at all when the rock ended up in the living room. They do a better job of packing the stemming and the distance from the top of the hole and where the change is placed is farther than before. This makes my job a little harder since we end up with more boulders that don't fit in the crusher and I have to sort them out.

Truly, the sheer moving power and overall efficiency of modern explosives is not to be underestimated. With a few pounds of high grade modern explosives, literally days of bulldozing and big shovel work is avoided. You guys are really top notch pro at your job.

Nice work Dave! Seeing as I am a Blues Brother from the Richmond Valhalla Cinema and then the Westgarth Cinema back in the 80s and the early 90s, your start to the video took me way back much further than it should have. Carrie Fisher would have appreciated your efforts with the rocks as she had this thing about trying to blow up Joliet Jake for leaving her standing at the altar on her wedding day. Some chicks just won't let things go! Mark from Melbourne Australia Did you see my note about the 4x4 shop to check out? Grange Rd Fairfield, and I know you know where Fairfield is!
