Somehow it does seem like it’s going to be all right after a Gin Blossoms binge

Hey Robin, it's "Bangs" Scott Wallace from Zia Records back in the day all those years ago in Tempe Arizona. Good to see you still rocking out! Say hello to your brother for me. Last time I saw him was in Sedalia Missouri when you performed with the Goo Goo Dolls for the Missouri State Fair. Hope all is well. Peace!

This is awesome. Thanks for posting Robin. Always love seeing you in concert. When NME came out, it stayed in my car CD player for 3 years straight...

This was AWESOME!! I've seen Gin Blossoms many times as well as the Smithereens a few times that last 3 years but only with Marshall on vocals. Robin, and chance of singing with the Smithereens in southern CA? See ya at The Greek next month! PS. this video reminds me so much of living in NY/NJ where I spent the first three-fifths of my life. A little homesick now.

Hey Scott, You just gave me a flash back. Zia Records was awesome. During the early to mid 80's My friends and I would drive from Peoria to Tempe (which was kind of a drive back then since they didn't have all the freeways like Phoenix does now) but we would go there to get the 12" LP's and Imports and to see what bands would be playing at the Mason Jar. I'm in Southern Cali now but I think back to how it was when Phoenix had that hidden history of the underground Punk and New Wave scene that Zia Records was a big part of. Now those places are gone but have left a lot of memories to those who were around back then and was able to be part of a secret history of Phoenix's underground music scene of the 80's. Thanks man for bringing back a great memory.
