Thank you Ivo ! It was way more in depth than I expected. I learned a ton about the boot, plates & such.

Really appreciate how technical you get in these! I've hacked away material and stretched the boot of my m12 (that I bought from you!) to make them fit very wide, like 5th element wide. At least where I need them to be. Grinding away inside the soul plate was key. Can see how the skin and wider plate would help a lot with customising these for a better fit "under the skin".

Hey soulskateshop, would you mind do the review on RL2 liner? I have been searching for a review of it but nonetheless have a detailed look as you guys did on other review. Hoping you stockup the RL2 XL size onwards 🙏

Does the 5th Element soulplate sizing match the M12/Dogma shell sizing?

Hi Thisissoul. Great video as usual. I have a pair of M12 Juno and some spare Twister XT cuffs, the M12 cuffs are too flexible for my taste. Will the mount screws on the Twister XT cuffs fit the M12 boot? Thank you!

That is very very likely yes. It depends on the size of the cuff though. Take a shoe lace and measure the distance between the inner and outer cuff bolt with it from both cuffs along the back of the skate to know more. good luck!

Hello. I have a question regarding eyelets that are not metal covered inside on the DP 2.0. I don’t know if they fixed the issue on latest blk/pnk. The outside shell does not tighten properly, but the inside you need to put eyelets by yourself. If not? How to repair them if broken ripped holes? With wider washer spacers and metal eyelets? Otherwise i was thinking to switch the inside shell with some valo 13 but i saw that new holes need to be drilled for soulplates. Any better suggestion? And thank you for all stuff you are doing! Massive respect!

If you switch the shell you can actually still use the original soulplates, you might only have to replace the soulplate t-nuts for slingtly bigger onces and maybe redrill the holes in the shell to accomodate for the sligthly bigger t-nuts. that is it. We will do a video someday in the future regarding changing eyelets. It is duable but you have to have the right gear for it.

Thank you for responding Ivo! Just need the right bolts for the soulplate. If I wasn’t impatient I’d id take them to a shoemaker and he would do it. But is too late now. Luckily I have the valo v13 that I will switch with.🤜🤛 much appreciated.
