I've had mine for about half a year now and have used it every day for 8+ hours. Some people say the paint on the keys wear off, I have not seen that. Other people say keys just stop working, all my keys work great. Maybe I just got lucky with my product but the keyboard has definitely lasted me and I would recommend to others.

i thought the same, until it broke. its now one and a half years old and now unusable. multiple keys including A W and Shift are either not registering 50% of the time and worst of all the costumer support is terrible, they would rather lie and make up stupid excuses than to help you in any way

Great review mate ! Thanks Question : Is it me, or does it have a kind of deep blue-ish hue ? Is it due to the lightning setup, or is it how the black version actually look IRL ?
@ECPUz

I think it's a combination of two things. One is the temperature of the lighting I use, and the other is the faceplate is more of a grey-ish black. It's definitely not a deep black like other keyboards.

I'm thinking about getting this keyboard, just for the fact that I get a lot of crud under the keys, and cleaning it out seems so simple, even simpler with a can of air. Would take no longer than 10 seconds. Plus the assignable key color profiles... that seems badass.

Can you swap the key switches? For example can you swap the switches to the one the Roccat Pryo has?
him reviewing keyboard meanwhile HyperX Alloy Elite 2 chilling in the background
Ordered.
About the whole "bend the keyboard to test for build quality" thing: Some reviewers also bloody twist keyboards to test the "build quality". Like, I get, that you'd want to check how rigid the keyboard is, but I don't think, that either of these methods says anything about "build quality". The keyboard could be made entirely of plastic and have an amazing build quality, but at the same time still twist a little. As you said yourself, no one is going to use a keyboard by applying a strong force on the top midsection of the board and also no one is going to use a keyboard by twisting it. People usually use it by having it laying on their desk and typing on it. Unless you plan to smack someone over the head with your keyboard, I don't think it matters too much what the board is made off. And even then, maybe use something else for that. What I'm trying to say is: Applying pressure to the keyboard or even twisting it, doesn't say anything about build quality (how well the parts have been manufactured and how well they have been put together). It says something about the materials (a keyboard made of plastic will twist easier than a keyboard made from aluminium). But that shouldn't matter as one usually has their keyboard laying on their table and even, if you travel with it, the thing is still made of plastic and not paper. It's going to be fine. If you really want to check the quality of the thing, make another review after using the board for 1 to 2 years every day.
Can you save the lighting profiles on the keyboard itself like Logitech peripherals and use it on different computers? I cant install that software on my work computer.
him reviewing Roccat keyboard meanwhile HyperX Alloy Elite 2 chilling on the desk
I've had this keyboard for three days. the only thing i can't figure out is installing swarm. When the "Vulcan AIMO" program is installed, it can only be opened for 5 to 10 seconds, then it crashes. The lighting control is not accessible at all, which immediately leads to the program being closed. Apart from that, I am very very happy with the keyboard!
on mine, i dont get that ringing noise when i complete typing a key, considering that i have the red switch version
Can we change RGB for every touch one per one ??

nice review :3 i have this keyboard for quite some time now and i sadly have to say i have big issues with it! after searching around and talking to the roccat costumer support about my problem it seems that its quite common and almost every roccat vulcan suffers from it.. the keyboard does not perfom AT ALL in a dusty enviroment. The switches tend to delay, doubletab or dont work at all when there is just a little grain of dust in it. Jusst ntow wen i dot n corrrecc wat imh wrriting my ssentence esnd up like tiss (just now when i dont correct what im writing my sentences end up like this) as a programmer this is kinda killing me, its my first "expensive" keyboard i ever bought and its now next to my desk when im working cause my 10€ keyboard from amazon performs better in terms of consistency. Ofcourse i can clean the keyboard and it works just fine for a few weeks until i need to do it again. meanwhile my 10 year old 10€ keyboard still performs great. at this point in time i spent more money on airpressure cans to clean the switches than i spent on the keyboard

No replace parts and no repair service. Thank You roccat your marvelous build to last keyboard..... lasted 2 years of not so extensive use. Titan switches have an issue of getting broken so when you type you got double types or missing types. Really helpful by playing games not to mention writing passwords or typing in general. So your slogans "build to last", "best in the world", "100 million clicks", "The Titan Switch is a marvel of German engineering" and "best mechanical switch on the market" are going to trash with my keyboard beside it. The worst is that they are admitted in email that they are aware of the problem but guess what .... STILL SELLING FAULTY PRODUCT. NO ROCCAT EVER AGAIN. I hope the market will show you soon your place which is the bankruptcy. It could be great keyboard, it definitely looks good but unfortunately that is all good sides. My 170 euro is wasted but my lesson is learned. Before you buy any peripherals. First look for users reporting problems and ask company for repair service and spare parts. And dont buy anything which is not on the market for at least half year.

Should I get hyperX or roccat???
I mean... Does it really matter how "rigid" and "robust" a keyboard is? What are you planning to do with it, sit on it? The only time you can feel the weight of a keyboard is pretty much when you unbox it or you move it from your table/setup/rig. The overall weight of a keyboard does not affect the feel of it while typing on it, the keycaps, switches, and arm wrist does.
Hey what keyboard do you have in the background? Does anyone know?

I don’t think you should cause the titan switch is based off the cherry mx browns and has the same concept but does the job better, overall with the price and aesthetics and with an aggressive look, you should definitely stick with the Vulcan. And I bought the k100 and it was not what I was expecting. The durability was very bad for a keyboard that price and for some reason the aluminum plate attracted a lot of dust and you had to air clean it almost like weekly.
its not worth it tho. I love it! but it's so pricey
