The almost suppressed soul timing and beat really puts the song together well. For the most part, I can't stand pop music. But I'm a fan of well constructed catchy songs and this meets that criteria perfectly.

She's such a mastermind in the music industry! Amazing!

That melody, resonating with the lyrics, make me feel the hope, imminent happiness in that sort of promise of self care and love, and it was all I needed to listen. she's a 17 year old teenage girl that already suffers with depression and other mental illnesses and she uses her art as a way to talk about those illnesses and other issues that everyone has and any other artist it's talking about it

I think some fans fell out of the loop due to her 2000s efforts not charting as well in some countries. Like I know as an American fan, I didn't even know about her self-titled album until I saw a magazine article talking about it. (and it didn't help they waited 2 years before releasing it here)
