I knew this song thanks to Robyn and this is the version I'll keep...Robyn=awesome

I really love Bjork, and this is an EXCELLENT cover, done with such emotion and respect. Congrats for Robyn, and for you, for the amazing mastering!

beautiful song. hard to follow the original because Björk sings the hell outta it. so I give props to Robyn for having the balls to do it. NOT an easy song to sing....especially LIVE in front of Björk herself!! it's a tribute to Björk and was performed for her when she was awarded the Polar Music Prize in 2010. CUT HER A LITTLE SLACK! do you think you could better? under those circumstances? hell, NOT under those circumstances. SO many haters in this world. What happened to encouraging others???

She may have sang the "safe up here with you" part as "safe again with you" because 1) She may have spoken about this through with Björk and agreed that it's okay to be changed or 2) She may have been nervous, sang it wrong once and decided to go with it through the rest of the song, not ruining the flow of the song. It still fits the song very well and doesn't change the meaning.

I like "safe again" more because it means the feeling has occured before. Instead of it being a potential first time. When it comes to romance firsts are somewhat ideal but I think when it comes to comfort, repetition is way better. Im sure you could look deeper and each time you look into the abyss we call emotions perhaps another interpretation occurs.

To be fair that is the last thing Björk would care about getting the words 100% right. She probably think its refreshing with changes. Its just arrangement I can't stand of such a beautiful song.

Robyn's cover is amazing. Both Bjork and Robyn are beautiful. I guess everyone has a different understanding to this cover. To me, Robyn's version is just like the beauty of the twinky blinking star in the dark night. Robyn is the girl who can sing pop but makes it so powerful and touching to move everyone like me. If you listen several times of this song, you might find that robyn is a very smart singer who knows how to control her feeling and tell the story.

I totally agree. The reason why I like this version so much is because of how well the music fits the words. The lyrics here are so alarmingly beautiful and haunting. I think the story of this song gets a bit lost in Bjok's more electronic, produced version. I enjoy both, but much prefer this.

Well I’m not at the top of a mountain although I am on my top bunk, headphones on, its dark, my eyes closed, the orchestra do indeed do an outstanding job, I’m simply mesmerized soaking up this beautiful piece of music, credit to both Bjork and Robin.

@magnusable Um, where in my video title or description did I claim that it was a studio version? And I have used audio editing software to remove crowd noise, thicken the lead vocals and add clarity to the instrumentals...so by anyone's definition, that is 'mastered' - it may not be the most difficult task I've ever undertaken, but you know what, I took the time to do it. If you have a better version in your possession, why not upload it?

Wasn't was just part of a live tribute to Bjork? I do like the production on this and I think if bjork had written the song today the production would do as good a job of building the song up as this does, not that the production on the original is bad it's just a little bit dated. Robyn can't really sing this song anywhere near as well as Bjork can and i'm not saying Robyn can't sing because she can but most of Bjork songs are just very difficult to get right. It is a lovely cover though.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I disagree. I think this blows Bjork's out of the water. It's all a question of personal taste, and my taste lends itself to the ethereal, orchestral beauty of this over Bjork's more produced sound. That said, isn't it great that we are all able to have our own views on these things? ;)

Hmm, fan mastered but still good work.

I know this is a live version and I like some of Robyn's songs, but this doesnt even hold a candle to the original. It seems odd to decide to cover a Bjork song since she is such an amazing singer (Bjork), it really makes it harder to give it justice. Still an ok version though.

I like this version but it drives me nuts that she clearly sings the wrong lyric. It's "Safe up here with you" (as in up here on the mountain). Not "safe again with you".

I can not agree with that statement. Robyn blew me away with this cover in tribute to Bjork, but Bjork''s original music cannot be matched IMHO. The raw emotion and originality isn't something that can be covered .

😂 nope. This is an awesome cover by Robyn. And I'm liking it very much. But no. Bjork's is still the best. And I think if any other artist do a cover of Hyperballad, it cannot top Bjork's original version. It's so unique.
