Nice to see a more extensive test of those two. I'd like to point out that this model is absolutely not Karcher's "first foray into the robot vacuum space". They were among the first to come up with a fairly smart robovac, the RC 3000, back in 2003. The first ever to come with a clean base btw - 21 years ago. It was followed up with the RC 4000 which was identical but came with the color theme of the premium versions of their later models (including the one tested here), instead of the typical Karcher yellow/dark grey one. A few years ago, they released the RC3 which was a pricy piece of garbage. This recent one here seems to perform fairly well but is simply overpriced for what it is.
