It worked plenty of times, it just dealt internal damage. Like blunt force trauma - it might not make you bleed, but it'll break you well and truly

At 16:06, as Behemoth enters the arena, it gets its bucket/scoop wedged under the arena floor due to a loose floor panel

So the Kan Opener team's explaination as to why they don't do well in the main event still holds water even when they did compete in Series 8.

So Kan Opener's strategy is that they are "Going to grip Rippa The Flippa".

Pretty lackluster annihilator in my opinion (have always felt that whenever there's less fights due to mechanical issues) but was a big shame they didn't do one in the newer series

Flippa never worked and advances to the second round, by doing absolutely nothing but holding Ewe-2 in the arena.

not going to lie this annihilator was pretty bad on par with the extreme 1 second annihilator

@@neilpennycook3287 I thought this was a bit rubbish to be honest as 2 of the robots didn't work at all and nearly all of them were flippers. I much prefer this format when you have contrasting types of robots that did actually function (such as the first Ex1 one)

Let's face it. Flippa just sucked. I think Conquering Clown should've competed in the World Championship Qualifier and the Seventh Wars Annihilator. He definitely would've provided more entertainment with his head on fire again. I'm just gonna stick with my previous statement. Joe Murawski should've held on to Buzz.

Strange moment for the house robot rebellion when the only robot that was working for the whole fight was Behemoth.

Mr. Psycho should have went over and flipped Growler back on its wheels... and cassius chrome shouldn't even exist, and it was also flipped over and stuck in the pit, how the FUCK did it just "get out" of that? Jeeez..

I don't think Mr. Psycho would have been able to lift Growler; his trusty pooch weighed over 300kg. The pit was raised and Refbot righted Cassius. Housebots bending the rules to make a more exciting fight.

@@PelemusMcSoy Mr. Psycho was almost 1700lbs, and his arm was capable of lifted 440lbs straight off the ground - I know he can't just pick all 660lbs of Growler up, but I'm almost 100% confident he could have tipped him back over with the combined usage of his arm and body, with a lifting-push-tip motion. It'd have been worth a shot, rather than him just being incapacitated.. and again, Cassius is a piece of junk lol. He had no impact whatsoever on any fight he was ever in... they should have made a stupid powerful flipper bot instead. I know Matilda has a flipper, and there's a floor flipper, but still... almost anything would be better than Cassius

@@PelemusMcSoy but yeah, I know they were over there working on getting Cassius back upright and out of the pit, hence the quotations, but they just played it off as if Cassius somehow worked himself out of it lol, that's what I was pointing out there.

I'd love to see Apollo against Mr Psycho.

They wanted the fight to go on for longer. The House Robot rebellions were for fun and pretty much threw the normal rules out the window; they even had the audience decide who won the battle.

First heat, Ripper was quite impressive, flipping anything in sight. That 'Robot Rebellion' was bullshit, two competitor robots versus three house thugbots, and one of those the monstrous Psycho? If it had been a fair competition, weight for weight and two of them, like say Shunt and Matilda or Dead Metal and Bash, the house thugbots would have got the thrashing they so richly deserved. I'd like to see superheavyweight 300kg versions of, say, Gravity and Carbide let loose on Killalot and Psycho and reduce them to scrap. Heat 2, there goes Ripper again, flipping anything it can get to. I'm starting to really like this robot. Heat 3, well, Raging Knightmare was unlucky the other 2 ganged up on them. That's essentially what's likely to happen in any 3-robot contest. I think in a straight duel Ripper would beat Knightmare, they both have powerful flippers but Ripper's is so wide it's easy to get under another bot, Knightmare's is narrow and much harder to use. Kan Opener vs Knightmare, I'm not sure which would win. Based on performance so far, I think I'd bet on Ripper for the final, certainly if points were awarded for performance so far Ripper would get it. Final: Ah well, Ripper lost drive to a wheel. Didn't need bloody Psycho making a pest of itself again. Interesting that Kan Opener had so much trouble gripping them because of the wedge front.

In regards to the Rebellion, if Cassius Chrome hadn't been lifted from the pit and righted by Refbot, the challengers would have still legally won. Growler got flipped, Cassius pitted, and Mr. Psycho shorted out at the end (he stopped moving, his eyes were off, and Jonathan Pearce pointed out easily missed internal sparking).

Series 7 is the second main series to have an Annihilator after Series 4 (which had 2 Annihilators)

@@tombardsley3081 extreme 1 and extreme 2 count as spin-off series along with Nickelodeon Robot Wars, Dutch Robot Wars, German Robot Wars and Robot Wars: Extreme Warriors
