They're addressable LED lights, you can cycle them through different colors/patterns/effects with a microcontroller (Arduino/Raspberry Pi).

Imagine if he had a modded Prometheus that hits harder than 100 fps and could you imagine you walk in to a room to shoot someone and the turrets and them just turn around at you like do you wish to reconsider you choice.
