I paid off my preorder last week for this set. Patiently waiting for the package to arrive. I’ve been digging all of Fans Toys cassettes.

Slugfest is named Thagomizer after the late Thag Simmons.

Nice review. Cassette Transformers were definitely of the 1980s. Today, I guess they would be in the form of cell phones of the 2020s.

So retro i just love the cassettes. Have i turn into a fans toys fanboy😮

Going to pick these up from ShowZ later this week. I'll put in the reviewer code for you. Buzzsaw will remain in the box. I'm fine with my MMC versions even being a little large and I don't have the FT Laserbeak and I'd want those two to match. Have the Takara Buzzards as well and I like the cassette deco the FT doesn't bother with. While the other FT micros are huge improvements form the far older Takara designs the old Takara Laserbeak and Buzzsaw have held up to the newer FT really well. The Autoscout is a nice bonus but I primarily want the set for Slugfest and Overkill. Hope MMC makes them down the road but I'm not sure they will. Not getting the FT Soundblaster just to get their Ratbat. I'm fine with my Takara Ratbat and MMC has announced that they're making a Ratbat after they get Ramhorn released. Picking both of those up for sure. If MMC ever makes Slugfest and Overkill I'll be selling the FT versions. I won't miss the Autoscout that much. 😂

Mike,I think it's a little too late to finally learn how to pull out 😂 No but really I'm loving these cassettes and soundblaster because I missed out on the o.g. Great review brotha 👊
