I dont know if i would be able to replace an smd component but it looks quite easy when you do it. Luckly my button still works fine. Good work man!

Thanks. I added a 1.5k THT resistor on top of the blown 1k SMD. It worked.

what size of resistance is that or what type. 1K is clear but which chip size. SMT???

You forgot to mention that you have to take this thing completely apart, and have electronic repair tools like a meter and have to be able to solder microscopic resistors...so it's a little more than 2 screws to fix it.

Super , merci , réparé ! Je n'ai pas eu besoin d'enlever les "carrés" boutons. Attention aux fils pour refermer le cache. A voir si la réparation tiendra dans le temps car selon certains ça revient . REEDIT : ça à tenu 3 mois , ma chance c'est qu'il est resté bloqué sur la vitesse 2 , m'enfin vu comment l'aspiration se dégrade , il aurait peut être mieux fallu la 3 ! Une vraie merde de Chine cet aspi !. Retour chez des marques connues tel que rowenta , il etait peut être dur à ouvrir , certes , mais jamais eu de problème , j'arrête d'acheter tout et n'importe quoi , et en plus ça fera moins de cargo et de pollution , marre d'être pris pour des pigeons pour enrichir toujours les mêmes , je sors de la boucle !! Au pire je me rachète un balai au moins c'est fiable !

Please be careful with those open poles.. You don't want to short the battery.
