My first impressions upon receiving this baby gate was amazement at just how heavy it actually was in the box. When I opened it I was happy to discover almost the whole thing is made out of high grade sturdy metal. The assembly of the gate didn't take me very long at all as there was surprisingly not much to it. You simply add on the attachments to fit the length of your door with the bolts provided line it up in your door way and tighten the nobs by hand to finish the adjustment.
One of the things I truly liked about this gate was the magnetic close feature. It is a brilliant idea if anyone walks through it and forgets to close the door behind them. It will slowly shut all of the way until it locks. If you want to leave it open you have to open the door past the 90 degree angle and you will feel it stick and stay open in that position. The gate also has a child proof switch that needs to be engaged to open the gate as well. All in all we love this gate and will be using it on a daily basis . I received this gate as a evaluation unit to do an unbiased honest review and with that being said I really can't recommend this gate enough
