Robo-Airsoft: Philosophies - What I Pack for a Milsim Event - Tips and Tricks

Спорт

Starting a brand new video-series with this one: Robo Philosophy, where I give you tips and tricks that help me both on and off the airsoft field.
In this first instalment, I'll cover all that I pack for going to a milsim event. I'll cover my methodologies and through processes, as well as the actual equipment I take to ensure I'm effective in the field.
Check it out.
Hope you enjoy! Please let me know what you think in the comments below!
Want me to cover a concept? Tell me!
Coming soon: Gear reviews: Inforce WML/APL, Salomon XA Forces 2, and LALO Bloodwing and Zodiac Recon athletic shoes. More BH4 gameplay to come, as well!
Hope you enjoyed!
As always, if you dig these videos - help me make more: like, share, and subscribe!
Support your local airsoft scene!
Play airsoft safely and responsibly. Always carry your weapons in a gun bag and never brandish them in public. Remember - LE officers don't have the time, and will not risk, checking if you're holding an airsoft weapon.
ALWAYS wear ANZI/Mil-Spec approved ballistic eye wear.

Rich Amar TSA has guidelines on bringing firearms onto flights on their website, the short version is: yes you can fly with it, but it has to be in your checked luggage in a locked hard sided case. No grenades or CO2 canisters allowed at all. And make sure you’ve got orange tips on everything. It also doesn’t hurt to call the airline ahead of time to see if they have any additional policies regarding airsoft guns.

Robo, as an active US military member this was a good video. Logical format and distribution of gear. As new airsofter looking at MilSim to augment my own training this a was great video with really good/logical ideas. Keep'em coming, you're doing an awesome job.

+Vodka2051 Thank you very kindly for the words of encouragement! I try to do things as logical and helpful as they can be - whether that be HOW I apply my skills in airsoft on the field, to how I think about things off the field. If it helps others - that's the track I want to be on. Thank you for stopping by to give me the feedback, and to watch the video! Thank you for your service!

Unless someone wants to dropkick their bank account off the face of the earth - I always advise a slow accumulation, with thought and consideration put in :P

A tip if you want to protect your stuff a little bit more while flying, particularly stuff in hard-cases, try your best to make it seem like they're musical instruments, it might not seem like much but I've known a few baggage handlers who say the only thing they actually treat gently are musical instruments.

When LBT had that sale on those bags it was has if the airsoft gods were shining upon us all. The struggle was real to be really organized for a cheap price in airsoft. The whole F.A.R.T. crew rocks the large bags in multicam. I don't know what we would do with out them. Great video Robo you always have very good content on your channel.

So you packed your pack with your pack? Solid. ;-) Oh the death rags! It should be mandatory for airsoft. But good stuff with this video. Always cool to see how others think and especially pack.

This video is great, I’m trying to get started in airsoft...I only thing I would do different is the accessories in that pelican case, looks like if you put your accessories in your first bag, you could totally fit another rifle..best of luck

Great video man! Do you use different gear such as a different PC or 1st line when on a tan side or just different BDUs?

  • @robomurrayairsoft

    @robomurrayairsoft

    8 жыл бұрын

+kitkatkieklak Generally just different BDUs. For most milsims (minus say Milsim West)...the rules only apply to your uniform (tan/green/other)...equipment on top of that, doesn't matter. You can be tan - wearing DCU camo...and wearing black vests, etc. The difference in the case of MSW events...everything matters when it comes to what side you're on (NATO or Russian), as it all has to be faction specific.

Hey man. This vid actually made me sub. Was wondering: I have a VFC Mk. 17 with a PEQ, ACOG, vert grip and tracer unit. I also have an APS ACP with a few mags for each. It seemed to me that the case you use would be a bit small. I'm trying to go for a MARSOC loadout, so of course I have mil spec stuff in my Eberlestock V69. But the main question is what case would you say could fit my primary, secondary and goodies to go on them. I appreciate it and the fantastic content. I wish you luck in your future airsoft adventures. Have a good one, brotha'. -D

As long as you don't need to travel by air - you can just get one of the bigger Pelican cases designed for more than one rifle. This case just is the maximum size for air travel before becoming "oversized" (which costs you an extra $75 per direction of travel to put on the plane).
