I don't think quackity took down the forums. There were hackers on there who could post swear words, scam links, and beg for robux. I am pretty sure that happened in the 2012 April Fools incident and the hackers made admins swear on the forums.

He actually got ip banned 6 minutes after he started the stream. Then not later, Roblox got tired and shutdown the forums for a few days, but when they reopened it they realized that it was just so out of hand so they shutdown the forums probably forever. RIP Forums 2006 - 2017
