They both made contact outside of the yellow area, so albert shouldn't have died. The collision detection only recorded Albert touching SaucedChris when albert entered the yellow zone, so this is undoubtably lag clownfoolery. The edition of needing good internet was a welcome change.

I see the pattern: this game’s engine sees things throw the perspective of the laggier person when they detect an event where someone apparently dies. You might be way ahead of them on your screen but on their screen they’re ahead of you enough to swoop in for the kill and flee, and so the game prioritizes the interests of the laggier person (not you) and you die. They see a clear and deserved kill while you see someone essentially bribing the game for telekinesis or split second ninja jitsu movements or smth.

Worm face is seriously the worst game. The sign says “if you touch someone’s body you die” but if someone touches your body he doesn’t die. But if you touch HIS body you just DIE
