Been wanting a game like this since I joined Roblox in 2013. Looking great bud, keep developing this, there's a good demand for a good roblox game revolving around the Tripods.

The horns are going off too often. They only need to sound when they spot humans.

The Tripods actually don't make the sounds for intimidation, they use it for a sign for backup or sorts. But it can be used as a roar too i guess.

This just made me remember playing another War of the Worlds game in 2013 or so. It was a city with fully destructible buildings where you kind of just tried not to get blown up by the tripods wandering around. If enough players banded together using the basic guns you had you could even take them down if I remember right. Wouldn't be surprised if this game is based on that one

All jokes aside, this is incredible, with an astonishing amount of effort already put in, down to lighting, to the buildings, all the way to the way they are animated and sound, and this is just a little sneak peak of the demo.

Great atmosphere and environment, but really work on the tripod model , animations, and what they can do, as well as particles and effects, as they need a lot of work. Looks promising, though! PS: Your legs are on backward just so you know.

The game looks awesome so far and I can not wait to try it out. Although, the walking looks way too npc like, the horns go off way too often, and maybe if it is possible, you should make another similar horn sound for the tripod. Like something louder and more aggressive sounding? This is only my opinion though and some may not agree..

I find it incredible how people are commenting about improvements on this game, rather than the sheer fact that this IS roblox… the evolution of technology is so fast. To think of the early days in comparison, it’s insane.

A cool idea would be to add some short of Faction Multi-player thing. Where one can play either as Civilians (Regular, Police, Firefighters, Doctor, some roles within Civilians to get some RP going), Military (Army, Airforce, Navy, Coastguard), and Aliens. Perhaps The Military faction (Not Army but Airforce, Navy, Coastguard) and Alien faction can be paid to unlock through robux to generate some money and profit for the game. Just some ideas

tbh i think the rp theme is too overdone now especially in roblox games. doing that would ruin the horror aspect of the game esp if u can play as what you’re supposed to be running/hiding from

THIS IS WHAT I NEED imagine this is a free roam world u can survive and a storyline and u have to go through some alienatic powerships and fight the leader and u failed and some secret orgazination found u and do some test on u and it went succesfully but u have some weakness and not yet complete and then went and went on the storyline you finnaly gets a hang on it and fight some crazy boss like DMCS but some changes (devil may cry series)

JESUS, I've been gone almost twelve years and this is what we have now. This game is something else.

you should increase sound of robot footstep and shake screen when close

its lacking some atmospheric sound effects like the footsteps, mechanical sounds for the feet but this looks *so* solid its just that its too quiet

Different classes of tripods would be nice, like you said, they would have different behaviors, like harvesters would speicialize in searching for humans, while ubers command other tripods in attacking humans and would make attacks more coordinated, etc.
