I was once forming Rome as Italy, I was invading Russia who had Germany, Poland, Czech, Austria and rest what I needed, India was there also invading in the same war as me and boom, india white peaces russia and it somehow translates to me losing all of the land I already took alone, after that horrible event I ragequitted the game.

It took him 84 minutes of in-game time from start to finish to form the entire Roman Empire. That’s about 1 hour and 24 minutes without the timelapse.

“Oh no, not again” is probably one of the most reasonable and most frustrating things when your enemys just lets out a cluster full of tanks. That IS really annoying. Good job though!

Rome is my favorite formable mainly because it requires you to constantly attack half the server to even have a shot of getting. I have Caesar equipped as it's my best title, but like to switch to Templar to hide my true intentions as Italy at least for the first few years I'll have to try a game where I go beyond Rome. every game I form Rome then stop because most of the server already left. I want to see what happens if I keep going.

replying to say I did in fact "keep going" once. I conquered most of Europe and the United States. There was one more player I could have done a hyperwar with but I wasn't in the mood and they left later on anyways.

I was in a 18 man lobby when i parties with this guy who used italy, and he legit, waged war on germany,france,sweden and almost all of eu, i swear he was soo good he destroyed all of them in like 4mins, it was soo insane, then he conquered all of africa in half an hour, what a god.

I once almost formed rime but just needed spain. I was focusing on africa and see france justified war on me by this point I have all the balkans and middle east and then I go to my birder with france and this guy has million of troops there and so I make forts in the alps and defend those with artillery and I killed all of his troops. Never forget the power of artillery on mountain forts

While im here, let me tell you a tale of how I formed the Roman Empire. *I start off by making 1 elec factory, followed up by 1 steel and 1 motor factory. I then invade Tunisia and justify in Egypt for a way towards Ethiopia. However, Egypt was a player. I declare anyways and after a short fight I win egypt, at this time i also take albania. But the US, who got a bit chummy with Egypt demands me to release egypt or he will declare, I say no. I try to ally the soviets but they refused my request. I was declared war on and lost everything quickly. However, instead of releasing me and egypt he (USA) keeps the land for himself. My goverment was in exile in south sudan, gifted by sudan who was emphatic of me losing all my stuff. The soviets get mad at USA for keeping all the land, and demands Italy to be released. The USA does not release me. The soviets declared war on USA and his ally germany, who had a 1940 look to it. The soviets were being pushed back, but allied help from vietnam, better known as the nguyen dynasty destroyed germany and USA collapsed, a revolution brought back the italians to its homeland. South Sudan was to be lost do to low stability, the war ended and italy was free to conquer a lot of stuff. But Insurgences led to the italian army to be extremely weak, but soon italy conquers all the stuff it needs and forms the roman empire.*

Because in history Rome got split into two.

basically, how to play as italy Due to low money in the start, its good to start to buy bulk some resources (ex: diamond) Buy around 100 diamond, after that, just build mines in genoa so more titanium. After that, just wait till you get money and while that get more 100k troops. Keep your home guard in rome. A good located city is florence, so if you want you can change it. althought its closer than rome to the other countries but less coastal. When you make and train your army, just start taking the balkans before serbia. Then, probably france and germany will attack you. To hold them, just make 1k tanks and train them. That is enough to hold them. (depending on skills) then, you just keep buying resources from other countries and make factories. To hold any regional power, just make an navy (2 frigates, 1 destroyer) and tanks (1k), troops (200k), and thats all you need to survive as italy in early game Mid game (2021 - 2023) since yo are already advanced, start colonization (tunisia, libya, other african nations) Change your ideology to nationalist or fascist. just keep advancing your army, getting more tanks, and etc. with that you will be able to survive a lot in the game. Late game (2023 - 3000) Since any nation will probably already taken over a wholle continent, you have to protect against them. Waste all your income in the army, then you will attack them with everything. after that, you can disband/ disable reinforcments to the troops for taking all your income. And, thats the guide i made to play as italy. (you can test if it works or no!, remember everything depends on the players skills)

I did that too in 2084 (with no tanks) (In public)
