This is just straight up emotional, but at least he got to see his mother. I didn't even get to see my mom because she died while giving birth to me. It's been 14 years since then, my dad has given me so much that I don't even feel the need for a mother figure, one of the many reasons I love my dad.

It really struck me real hard after getting this ending and coming back to the game title, on a silly note, it just a simply indicate that u need more heat in order to trick ur dad in letting u stay home. But on another note, seeing the last scene where the son HUG his father, under the cold and loneliness of the rain I immediately relate to the game title, both the son and the dad need more HEAT from once eachother, as they both need the heat, the warm from their son/dad to overcome the lost of their mom/wife. Truly a wonderful game

I was like "oh they divorced? that's sad" but then I walked into a graveyard. "Oh... oh my god." was my immediate reaction.

I never seen a game where it would have a sad ending… maybe the dev probably went through a similar experience like this and made this ending as a tribute to their mom if so that devs mom was probably the best
