I knew that they would add future lighting in android, it took 3 years since the first release of future lighting to ios 💀💀⁉️

Firstly, Roblox started to test future lighting on android, but only mediatek dimensity series (budget and budget+ segments). Those were mediatek dimensity 810 (very poor in performance chip, but it managed to handle future lighting on max graphics 30-50 fps) and dimensity 1080 (a little bit more powerful and easily managed to run doors with video recording at 55-60 fps). Now Roblox started to test snapdragon chips I guess? Your Xiaomi pad 6 pro has Snapdragon 8 gen 2 which is incredibly powerful. Maybe not*. My device is Realme GT Neo 5 SE which has Snapdragon 7 plus gen 2. That chip is very powerful too, but not as much as your. So, yeah. I think Roblox almost ready to release future lighting. Just for information, IOS and IpadOS already have future lighting almost for 3 years. Future lighting for android was delayed for many times. I'm sorry if my is comment too long, I'm just very excited. Oh, I just remembered. A year ago some IOS or same system users on devforum (where ppl can discuss different themes about Roblox) just said that Roblox didn't release future lighting on android due to Android's chips performance (at that moment snapdragon 8 gen 1 already existed, so what were they on?). Also some guy said that probably future lighting will be never released on android. That's so weird in my opinion.

@@ZeniXxso2 I have an 8+ gen 1, not an 8 gen 2. Also performance in some games like doors is poor, even an iphone 6 performed better, so I guess that there isn't much snapdragon optimisation yet.

​​@@Bon_v2yeah. Roblox firstly optimized future for dimensity. It can be easily seen by how good performance is at even on cheap dimensity 810. In my opinion Roblox just started optimize snapdragon recently. Like, they finished optimizing Mediatek and now started work on qualcomm.

I heard roblox is rolling out this to random people, do you think it is linked to your account or to your device since I have an s24 Ultra and don't have the future lighting. Also do you know if there are any other ways to access the beta other than editing the fflags because that requires a root or waiting for roblox to release it?

It's scheduled to release mid 2024, also it's seems like some players randomly got it temporarily, maybe roblox is collecting performance data and doing final optimizations before release.

@@Velixzx check the dev forums, roblox has made an announcement and said the release date date : September. Roblox also said that Future lighting is gonna be rolled out slowly before that. Yesterday they probably did a huge test to see what areas needed optimisation

What the fuck when I played doors or mimic I got 5 or 1 fps because of the furture lighting

For ones that are too tired to wait for future lighting increase your minimum screen width to 820, you'll get better graphics. But no future lighting.

​@untitledtruth921 Same, and I don't even experience any bugs. They said most of the Samsung devices with Exynos experienced those bugs, but mine didn't. Probably because I'm using a mali lmao, mali gou, but either way it still works good! When I got the future lighting, yeah it does lags a lot, but I did something to modify my phone to improved the fps and it did.

I didnt even get the update 💀

U need root or it's gonna be harder to do, future lighting is enabled with fflags (pc version also has them, that's the hint)

@@rsupernalgamer8277 they're fflags, stands for fast flags. It's basically the same way you change them on PC, but u need root as the game files are inaccessible without it. You can do it without root but u will need to mod the apk yourself
