the chances of crucifix in door 0 are rare, but crucifixes in super hard mode are rarer, so I think you'd be more likely to get eyes 3 times in a row (only reason i thought of that was cuz it happened to me) in normal than a crucifix in door 0 of super hard mode

Actually from what I believe, I think the spawn rate for items in SHM are a lot higher? Like you're more likely to encounter a 'wild' crucifix in super hard mode compared to standard doors
