not so odd as u might think. i suspect its because of roblox not being available in china right now, meaning they quote on quote 'forgot' about the china accounts (removed them cus chinese gamers cant use the chinese roblox version anyways cus its not available right now). idk why they didnt just keep the accounts for when chinese roblox comes back, but that could be for a plethora of reasons im unaware of.

I think roblox should add that each player has 1 free username change so we can avoid any bans, like changing username costs 1K and most unlikely players have any robux, but if they have YT in their name with some reason, they are screwed

This is really sad, my first ever account had YT in it and it wouldn't affect me alot if it was banned since it's not my main but it was made all the way back in july of 2020.

I think it's both. When I saw this I immediately changed my display name, but if you have it in ur real username you cant do anything because it still shows up as "former user" if you spend 1k to change it.

I act used my real name as username and after a couple years later I decided to change it and mailed roblox and they changed my name to which name I wanted for free!
