They almost executed Robin though. Not even Gol D. Roger attacked Ennies Lobby. So I would say that the government underestimated Luffy. People forget that the big shots like Gold. D. Roger and the other Yonko have been pirates for decades, even Shanks. The growth of Luffy and Blavkbeard is unprecedented. The government doesn't just send an admiral to anyone. But now Luffys crew is so strong that it would tie up a lot of resources by the marines and they have their hands full with the problems of the marine bounties as well.

@Ghostliestcorpse a threat is still a threat and see how it took up to now for luffy to even land a blow on an admiral and before needing shanks to bail him out. Though I can see them grab odens dad if they knew he could also read the ponoglyths. Overall it's still a problem and they have been known to do cleansings so it's still oda just writing stuff that contradicts his story but one piece is more of a garden story that grows than one that is set in stone from the start

"Robin doesn't have Haki" Is that even possible? Haki being a power from will, implies everybody has it, but only some can consciously control it. I very much doubt non-haki users would stand a chance vs the yonko and their crews.

Haki is a power from will. Everybody has willpower, to a greater or lesser extent, but that doesn’t mean they have haki. Haki is still a power/skill that needs to be learned and developed like any other skill. So the potential is there but that is not the same thing as ACTUALLY being there

@@connorbrady5689 I disagree. You say the potential is there, correct, but that fact also means people can develop it without being aware of it. Being aware and training to focus the power would certainly improve it, however you can also naturally have learned a "raw"/unrefined version of power, which would mean if Robin was naturally super strong, then her weak and untrained haki could still manifest in useful ways.

Whenever you have the absurd wealth concentrations that capitalism creates, the holders of that wealth will use it to leverage policies that buttress their wealth further. Why wouldn’t they? The black star is a symbol of the Greek God Saturn in Judaic tradition. So it's likely the black star represents this Saturn. But if Luffy is represented by the white star, that's where it really starts to get juicy. The white star is the symbol of the 8th chakra. This is the seat of the soul, that acts as a connection to your "higher self" and a connection to "all things". It is located 1 foot above the head and is said to have a frequency of 1074hz. Chapter 1074 is titled the weight of memory, and in it, Vegapunk describes the 21 grams theory. A theory about a proposed weight for the human soul. I take this as solid evidence that Chakras matter in One Piece. But what does this tell us about devil fruits? Well, I believe we can extract some insight from zoan scarves. The 7th chakra is located inside the head, and the 8th chakra is located one foot above. Regular zoan scarves run around the back of the users head, while mythical zoan scarves go up about a foot above the head before descending. I believe these scarves are cradling the respective chakras. If I'm correct, then the process for awakening a normal zoan is exactly as described in the 7th chakra awakening I mentioned in the beginning, and a mythical zoan awakening involves alligning your higher self with a mythical being which exists in that higher realm. The two spirits become entwined and this allows the user to awaken. This is why Kaido never awakened his mythical. Because the Azure Dragon is a guardian, and Kaido is a destroyer. So if Robin's mythical zoan is a mother of all devil fruits, perhaps an actual devil, then maybe the reason she could draw forth those powers is because she began to allign with it during the Black Maria fight. People have theorized that Luffy's gears are all different stages of awakening, and it may be the same for Robin. She may have several stages of transformation before she actually awakens. If her mythical really is the mother of all devil fruits, then I can see it being absolutely broken in it's awakened form. Perhaps when properly awakend, she will gain access to all devil fruit powers.

I can totally see Sanji and Kuzan fighting. Fire and Ice and all that good stuff.

I've always thought that Robin would go against Kuzan in the Straw Hats vs. Blackbeard fight. Of all the places the Straw Hats were sent to by Kuma, TequilaWolf is definitely the most interesting of them all. I think I know what Robin’s awakening is. I think she is going to have total control of her body. For instance, she is going to be able to control her size, not just create a giant avatar, will be able to change things she normally can’t change like her coloring, and grow anatomy that she shouldn’t have like horns and wings. And I don't mean making a bunch of hands into a wing shape. I mean real wings with feathers. That’s how you get Demonio Fleur. I also think she will have the ability to copy other people’s body parts. For instance, she could basically grow an arm with Luffy or Zoro’s abilities.

Hey Dak, amazing video as usual! The part about Roger's journey had me thinking. Have we ever had a video resource compiling all of the hints of where the One Piece is with the knowledge from the Oden flashback? Maybe those weird twists and turns they took from Water 7 to Fishman Island could have either been a result of the log poses' weirdness or possibly something more. Could one of the road poneglyphs point to Water 7, or could one be located there? I know there are probably many more hints across the series that most of us can't even remember.

Hope Robin gets one of the most powerfull in One Piece. For her thread to the govermant alone she deserves 1 bilion bounty, but I feel like fighting wise she can be up there too. It was always so underwhelming to not realy see her gettting a big fight (goes for Nami too), although in Alabasta she clearly was introduced to us as beeing strong, powerfull I get that they serve a diffrent purpose and are supporting luffy as crew members with their special abbilities, but since these characters have grown on us so much, I guess we also want to see them getting realy strong and fight powerfull enemies to further grow the power of the Pirate Kings Crew.

I love these videos. Do you have any theories on where the tontatta originally came from and why they headed out in search of resources? Could they have been involved in the initial gardening of the devil fruits? I also thought there were interesting parallels between how Usopp views the giants and how the tontatta view Usopp as a hero. I wonder if there's a relation to Elbaf, or a parallel to Elbaf for the dwarves. Anyway, thanks for these great theories! Lafro for the win!

Thank you for the kind words! I definitely think the Tontatta could have a connection to the original fruits. Or at least, maybe 1 of the 3 types of fruits. They helped grow SMILEs, which are zoans - I could see a world where Tontattas of the past helped create real zoans. And maybe other races helped with logia or paramecia. The tontatta story is a mirror of the sky races story because they also came looking for resources. So whatever is happening there Oda is cooking up something serious

Honestly, this idea is dope. Idk how I never thought about this as a potential fight. I always supposed Franky or Chopper due to Franky's mech shit or Chopper's monster point, but this makes more sense. Not to mention a call back to helping Sanji being flipped would be great for both characters. And if that wasn't enough, pairing the lowest ranking power of the Monster Trio against a former contender for Fleet Admiral would do a lot to boost his street cred while Luffy deals with BB and Zoro deals with Shiryu

imagine the end of a potential Nico Robin VS Sanjuan Wolf fight; Robin lands the final blow and Wolf falls over in the ocean, gets covered in flowers, and to solidify Robin’s victory and the death of Sanjuan Wolf, one big flower in the center of this massive body, blooms with a Devil Fruit in it. and like, his body just becomes an island. that would be kind of insane

Robin attacks arent spanish. They're a mixture of spanish portuguese and italian sometimes. I sepeak two of those languages and I cam confirm.

what about Franky's poster though. that might have been a foreshadowing for him to use the Sunny as his gundam mech against San Juan Wolf. Now that Vegapunk might come with the crew to Elbaf, he may teach him something, like how to build a giant mech.

I dig everything my man and I see the connection with the elephant actually being one of the main ways reileigh taught Luffy about observation Haki. With that being said Luffy landed in Amazon Lilly, in the calm belt AnD has a small island, Rusukaina, close enough. And the reason Reileigh is said to able to pop up to Amazon Lilly so quickly is because he takes his ‘morning laps’ (something to the effect of swimming excersice back and forth from each island. So I think the island Luffy was trained at was Rusukaina next to Lilly, but that doesn’t mean huge animals aren’t on the other end as well. i think Imu has one of the road ponelglyphs. while having all four poneglyphs gives an exact coordinate to laugh tale, having a single one can give you a heading. Imu is building their way to the one piece.

İmplying she was lost, she went Missing. İn the same chapter just after they talked about lilys dissapearence, we see some celestial dragons trying to capture a princess, the mermeaid princess shirahoshi , and they called her "pet". And people who helped to free her wasnt her fellow Royal people but pirates. Pirates who worked under joyboy specifically. (Sai and leo) And after this scene we return to Throne room just to hear imu say "lily." In chapter 1085 (the next chapter) we have vivi who is a descendant of lily and who looks like lily. Khalifa said " You will go down as Missing (like lily) and end up someones pet(like shirahoshi)" to vivi and she replied "over my dead body".And in the same chapter revolutunaries frees the slaves. İ think what kalifa said to vivi is exactly what happened to lily.So my theory is, what İf lily went Missing and ended up someones " Pet" . Or to be spesific, imus slave. She Was a female slave. And somehow she and her fellow female slaves managed to escape (with the help of joy boy probably) and formed an all female Pirate crew. And this crew was the foundation of Amazon lily. I have an idea for Robin's Hana Hana no Mi awakening... It might allow her to make full clones that aren't attached to the surfaces they are sprouted on. Of course, the limits of "hurt the sprouted limbs, her real limbs" still stands but only on a much larger scale since now it's "hurt the sprouted clone, hurt the real Robin".

I still think a df user is gonna manipulate tequila wolf (pica/pizarro/inazuma/maybe robin/san juan) and make it a bridge to marejoie for a sneak attack to bypass its lower defenses. A sort of rainbow bridge from midgard to the gods. The revs could also use the slaves as soldiers an Betty could pump them up. If imu is a plant/flower then I'm going to say it is or connected to suntree eve (which i think is one tree connected with the adam tree through planer/axis mundi) which I think is a giant lily foreshadowed by crocodiles intro with a lily in a glass of water, a smaller model of the suntree eve. In real life look up water lilies they have a stem that sweeps back an forth like a spiked club destroying/clearin/and cleaning water ways of other plants, some attract insects an I think kill or eat/absorb them, which remind me of the stomach barons. They could be possible stems of suntree eve if a lily that eat creatures that are on the stomach barons. Suntree eve could also be like the sunflowers in dressrossa that actually produce/store/transfer light. Another Robin Video today? She really is Best Girl. I personally think Demonio fleur was suppose to be a stand in for the Goroseii powers ever since Saturn's Transformation. Maybe Robin knew the Goroseii are demons all along, Imitated their powers using her fruit, all for defeating Black Maria

I know I might sound crazy, but I have a theory. What if entire shtick with luffy getting nika fruit is actually that "great cleansing" mentioned by ghandi. Come and think about it. How exacly luffy came into possesion of the fruit? It was by shanks. Same rat haired pirate that was in a meeting with gorosei. His father is speculated to be St. Gartig Figarland. I know it's said Lucky roo "Stole" the fruit, but somehow WG didnt came after red haired pirates and luffy. We know they could and would, look at god valley incident. They executed personally rocks d. xebec, propably most powerfull pirate known, and they even managed to completly erase any trace of him. Figarland wouldnt also hesitate killing his offspring, he didnt mind abandoning him with roger, and also didnt hesitate with killing Mjosgard. Maybe shanks was tasked with founding a suitable host for Joyboy appearence, and awakening, but not smart enough to look through it Another one who could be affiliated witg Gorosei could be shanks mentour himself, Gol d. Roger. Entire speech about one piece, pirate era was started by him. They could kill him in a middle of the sentance, but they didn't. All it did was driving pirates all through out the world to seek one piece, gathering world's strongest near each other, making survival of the fittest and electing most powerfull, that could do "shambles" The One Piece is sure to be real, but the man behind similar statement could be Elders agent as well. Known as whitebeard, his Jolly roger has some stricking resemblence to WG. Some of you may say, it was becouse of censorship, but it was also during time when Oda was rewriting entire one piece, becouse it became popular (yes, one piece was supposed to originaly end on Alabasta). Basicly also Whitebeard was maintaining power balance in entire Grandline up to a point, when luffy was already ready to become pirate (yes, relating to this raileigh was also very suspiciously close there to help luffy train in moment he exacly needed him). Then he and Marines made stunt with ace (I mean Ace was just a victim, he was sacraficial innocent unknowing lamb), that both renewed pirates hopes, and made chaos all around world through which strongest emerged. And isn't it weird, that Blackbeard, whose characteristics were most suiting found the fruit on Whitebeards crew, the only fruit that can kill off luffy? So only wildcard they couldn't plan was luffy, becouse they had to somehow lure joyboy out of the fruit, so he was problematic one. But what I mean, their goal propably is Ragnarok (yeah, elbaf reference), total final war, that would kill liberator himself joyboy, would destroy all ancient weapons, and extinguish all potential sparks of revolution

Would love to hear more about Sanji vs Kuzan in the future. They've got ice vs fire theming going on, he kidnapped Pudding, and also, if the battle for the One Piece is a battle royale with the other yonko crews, Zoro and Sanji typically have similar strengthed opponents. Maybe Zoro vs Mihawk and Sanji vs Kuzan are their big fights.

This gives me confidence to do that video - I think the Fire vs Ice layer could be pretty cool, and also, Kuzan only lost to someone with Magma powers. If Sanji can up his Ifrit Jambe to like Magma Jambe or something that would be cool too

I don’t think Kuzan is going to fight the Straw Hats. I think his fight is against Sakazuki at the end. After he possibly turns on Blackbeard. He definitely has a higher purpose then just a underlying foe for the Star Hats.

I agree with the match up, but I don't agree it would be 1 on 1 match ups On chapter 861 it was teased 13 Straw Hats with the cats, and people can't say it's just a fan request because on chapter 310 Oda drew a fun pink dragon yeeeeeeeears because Momo was ever revealed

I'm Spanish and I always find it funny when people say Robins attacks are in spanish. I mean, yeah, technically is spanish, but it mixes french (fleur, for example) and isn't at all gramatically correct (saying gigantesco mano is giant hands is like if i say "you fall floor" means that you have fallen on the floor, the correct form youd be "manos gigantes" because i don't even think gigantesco is a word in spanish😂). Not to be beefy, i'm not bothered at all, i'm just explaining it in case someone is interested.

Edit; I redid the math and changed it to be more accurate
