I not saying they received no recognition, I'm saying they are so amazing that they deserve much more recognition, and everything that comes with that, like money. I guarantee any of those women could walk down the street today and noone would bat an eyelid, because the average person wouldn't know who they are.

House music, the only genre of music that will never be included on any chart, no one will accept an award, yet quite possibly some of the best music for it's generation.

Which is sad because house music has proven itself to be a standalone genre and even go all the way to the top of the Hot 100 chart. Martha Wash was the female singer to get a house music song at the number 1 position on the pop chart.

OMG I love these songs.

I am 40 year's old from Poland. These are the songs of my childhood these were number ones for weeks !!! Absolutely loved them. Those dance / house classics and 90's r and b songs can put a smile on everyone faces. BTW how come those ladies can still sing so well live. WOW they are smashing it!!!!!!!!!! Much better than current pop music.

the reason why it sounds as same as the original is because it is. their microphones are turned down so their basically lip synching and singing along. you can hear the difference at the end of crystal waters real voice when she sings the last la da de la de da then it switches to cece peniston who is 100% lip syncing. the dj isn't doing anything except announcing the singers. its a common for "live" tv shows to do this

I wanted to mention that most of the songs are played DAILY on most popular radio stations in the UK!!! Amazing ladies. I am shocked how great they sound live. It is impossible to beat their flow and talent!!! The music that make you smile!

We were blessed at a time when we had so much amazing music coming out during that amazing era. The music from the 80's and the 90's was within a league of its own.

They weren’t singing. I’m not sure why they didn’t sing live but they didn’t. I have heard these songs for 30 plus years, I definitely know every inch of the song and they lip synced. I have heard Cece and Robin S sing live I’m not sure y they didn’t here

This video is dubbed over. It felt off to me a little too. Then I found the real live version and it felt more like everyone was feeling the music. The music sounded to much like the radio to me and not live. I was right. Go watch the real live version it's much better

Love them and their music, but I strongly suspect they were lip-syncing or doing a combination of that and live singing, in particular CeCe Peniston. On the other hand, drag queens in the 90s love lip-syncing to these songs, so I don’t mind either way.
