shoutout to this anon on tumblr (www.tumblr.com/blog/view/unli...) who was sweet enough to ask me about vidding robrae again & inspiring me to revisit one of my first ever otps! I loved working on this SO MUCH, it was so fun to rewatch some of the show and reread some of my old favorite fics of them. I also loved getting to use more voiceovers in this edit than I did the last time I vidded them (especially because scott menville's voice just *hits*) and this song was so perfect for exploring their angstier moments and their one of a kind bond that I still love all these years later. I hope you enjoy it! ♡

I still have no idea why tf the creators are gonna make so many scenes between robin and raven where you can just FEEL their chemistry together, yet still have the canon ship robin and starfire lol. this was a great edit though, the song I didn't really pay attention to but the video itself is beautiful. major props to you

@@pickled_raccoonyI heard somewhere that they wanted Robin and Raven together but wasn't sure how the fans would react to them so they did Robin and Starfire to make the fans happy, not sure if this is true or not though.
i feel like i was waiting my entire life for this robrae vid. it feels like the ultimate summation of whatever was happening between them in the cartoon which felt so obviously not platonic lol. incredibly lovely work

okay, so we know they’re not my OTP but SOMETHING IS BETWEEN THEM AND YOURE RIGHT!!! I also loved this song???? I think it fit them really well. And as always the parallels you chose were so on point. Like when you showed him holding her on the ground and then cut to her holding him???? Chefs kiss!!

I never watched a great RobRae edit for awhile, and this was just the right one to have me back on loving my OTP. I love this one so much!!! This is probably the best one I've seen so far. Most of the times, I feel tears of joy with how deep their bond was in some edits, and although it gave me the same feeling here, I squeeled so loud. I finally cried the 2nd time I watched this tho, lol. It's so perfect and I agree that Scott's voice just hits right in the feels. He'll always be my Dick Grayson... Their exchanged lines to each other just hits different and you captured their love, respect, admiration, and concern they have for one another perfectly. My favorite line was "I'm lost" "But I found you." That had me screaming so loud because it was done well and those two lines defined their whole relationship. When one is lost, the other would be there to find them when no one else did (You Found Me by Kelly Clarkson was their story!) Good job! I still can't express fully how I love this! Really! Keep up the good work! You deserve a sub!💖💜

omg thank you so much this comment made my day! ❤️❤️ I totally agree about the “I’m lost” “but I found you” lines - the other one that really gets me is robin’s “I came down here for you” line but ugh they just have SO many good ones!
