What was wrong with the old LED wig wags? They look fine to me none of the LEDS are broken as far as can I see

That Volvo came at a fair rate of knots didn't it! I thought it was going to smash right through the shiny new barrier!

Should have grabbed that Yodalarm at 1:10 m8, you can easily hook it up & activate it with a 9 volt battery.

Jesus. I didn't realize that the whole crossing was completely stripped from top to bottom during this new upgrade. It was probably expected after both Mountfield and Eastenden Lane Level Crossings were completely re-done. Great video on the build up to the opening. Did you not get to keep any old crossing equipment or was it sold on?

They need scaffolding to put up a sign? How about use a bucket truck or just take the pole down and put the sign on then put it back up. And maybe the floodlight should be fixed so that it turns on only when a train is in the signal block or something

Should have taken a wigwag and a barrier plate home with you. For character, I prefer the old crossing, on the other hand, for safety I prefer the new crossing.

Who noticed the right hand barrier on the other side is bent back.

That's the problem. The company most lokely will not listen unless the locals create and sign a petition stating that the floodlights need to be removed per local request.

Most places in the United States we only have one gate on each side. Just a single arm that comes down. Hardly anyone drives around them. The trains also blow their horns at the crossing.

gardenman3 in the UK, there are many types of crossings, this one has four barriers and they come down two then two so cars are not trapped on the track.
