A class act, both of them. Excellence of form and purity of expression -- untainted by fame and money. Very few dancers manage this. And gracious, generous teachers, too. Forget 95% of the tango videos you see on you tube: This is IT. Bravo!

I love Herrera's style - maybe it's this particular song, which I love, but I feel like he has an especially strong sense of rhythm. The inelegant quality of his choreography is precisely what makes his dancing so strong...there is a primitive energy to it which I like to imagine links it to tango's roots.

I agree with your "it takes two to tango" view of the dance, but you happened to drop quite a number of excellent and renowned bailarinas, arguably much better than the two you mentioned: Carmen Calderon (legend), Maria Nieves (legend in life), Milena Plebs, Mora Godoy, Guillermina Quiroga and the list could go on and on and on!!

@@giantoniomassarotto I think you are a bit confused as the milonga is 2X4 (the original and first faster rhythm) and can be dance if you dance milonga. El Cachafaz and his partner Carmen Calderón used to dance tango with that rhythm as tango hadn't slowed down from the milonga rhythm yet. Tango evolved later from the milonga and has a 4X4 rhythm and it is slower and danced as tango today, much freer than milonga which, it is only possible when dancing in a close embrace and following the rhythm... No, it is not three but, only two people dancing while the music plays to inspire the two of you. Maybe I didn't understand you well... I don't like to dance like anybody else but, as my own self with my partner. Who cares how Herrera dances!

i love this milonga. the rhythm makes you wanna play with ur partner with tricks and traspié* (i think this is the correct original word but i'm not sure), its very enjoyable and this video is a good example of it..

Muy bueno, excelente, una pregunta: que me puede importar si el tipo le pega a las compañeras de baile, a la vecina o a la madre??? Yo solo disfruto de dos fenomenos bailando. Si no, ademas de ser un crack bailando, tendriamos que pedirle el certificado de buena conducta.
