Absolutely brilliant. Perfect technique and delicate sensitivity. No other contemporary guitarist can make the guitar sing like Roberto Aussel. He reminds us of Julian Bream, that other giant of the instrument.

Qué artista increíble! Roberto Aussel es "uno" con la obra de Piazzolla! Control y delicadeza, musicalidad y belleza...qué grabación además!!

He is so elegant so intense, one of my absolute favorite guitarrist, heard him in Stockholm 1996, after that tried hard to by all Cd with him, which is not easy in Europe, and I am so pleased to watch him here. Thanks a lot!

Im not exaggerating when I say that Aussel's interpretation of Romantico and Compadre is the best Ive ever heard. Im bored with interpretations expressing neither any musician feeling nor energy. Not a case of Roberto Aussel.

Mr Aussel,,,,,,,,,un talent fou, un guitariste au sommet de son art, un personnage attachant que j'ai eu le privilège d'approcher lors d'un récital à Nantes. Pour moi, un modèle absolu dans son répertoire sud-américain que j'affectionne particulièrement. Vous me faite travailler dur ma guitare...........cher monsieur.

Really fantastic musician. I sat in a master class he did in Belgrade, extremely interesting his use of vibrato playing chords, not only single note vibrato. He really dominates his instrument and uses it like almost no-one else, I think

Claramente varios de los espectadores no saben a quien están escuchando, distraídos, mirando a cualquier parte, muy triste para ellos que no sepan apreciar la calidad y el nivel musical del maestro Aussel, por otra parte se lo ve al maestro Oscar Ghiglia muy compenetrado. Bravo.

quelle chance de profiter des super doigtés de roberto aussel.... dans ces piéces si belles et si exigeantes pour le guitariste en effet il ya quelques erreurs dans l'edition ricordi et des imprécitions sur les harmoniques nous pouvons grace à ce film les corriger personne ne joue mieux ces pieces que ce guitariste qui nous est cher dijon 9.02.2021

Yes! Presuming that you react to my statement about Aussel and Bream, I completely agree that Alvaro Pierri belongs to that very limited circle of artists who make their guitar sing and bring out all the colors that lie hidden in the instrument.

Zu Compadre: Vergleicht man mit dem Notentext und spielt selbst ein wenig herum, dann kann wohl der Verdacht aufkommen, dass dieses Stück nicht so häßlich ist wie hier interpretiert.
