Yeah especially the moment before the verdict when PSL ironically actually had a basis for a mistrial because of Anita contacting Louis illegally, but Louis never told Jessica and Harvey

Mike's imprisonment was sad as a lot of us would think. But after Mike served his time, two things made me happy. 1. Serving his sentence meant he had a huge burden off his shoulders and didn't have to look over his shoulder no longer, 2. Mike is just too loyal to turn on Harvey and the firm and give Anita what she needs.

I love how Patrick played these scenes, he was acting all cocky usual way Mike Ross character, is, but yet you can see he is scared, he is vulnerable. Taking his shoe laces and all with music , makes us really feel these scenes, I've watched them numerous times, great acting.

I honestly think Robert's character was improved in season 7, then again becomes trash in first few episodes of season 8 and then slowly recovers.

Suits got a lot of inconsistent character writing, just look at Louis; His personality shifts to whatever the scripts need him to be. One episode he can be brilliant and loyal to a fault and the next he is an incompetent baffoon that backstabs everyone. Sometimes he is a serious character, other times they give him 2 episodes of comic relief in trying to kidnap a cat.

Daniel Hardman from the early seasons and Anita Gibbs were the best antagonists of this serie.

Absolutely one of the best shows recently. I binge watched it in two weeks.

1:00 is she though? she almost lost this case even though by the amount of evidence its supposed to be an easy win for her. the only reason she won is that mike is an amazing person who cares deeply about his friends

If she wanted to get him, she probably could have. There is a ridiculous amount of evidence against him, and at any point in time the first thing a basic lawyer would do is get a few of the harvard law students who were supposedly in his class to testify. They will all say he doesn't know who he is, and he's done. She almost lost because she didn't want him, she wanted either of the big 3 name partners.

She did prove to the jury that he was guilty. The problem was that they were gonna let him go anyway. And she made him take a deal so she did win and in the end that's all that matters.

The amount of evidence is actually pretty miniscule. Everything she had was circumstantial. She couldn't get any hard proof because she couldn't get anyone to testify under oath Mike didn't go to Harvard

I love how the entire time she thought she was in mikes head or scaring him but she was just looking bad🤣🤣🤣

This is one of the scenes which makes me think about the scene in which Mike gets the “the people that love you will always be there to help when you are in trouble” past message from his parents, and then it becomes obvious that the toxic Zanes Rachel and Robert were never going to fill that role for him.

Love Anita Gibbs, character, great addition to suits. Scene in the coffee shop love it, she says to Harvey, " Mike Ross is a fraud, and I'm going to make sure he never sees the inside of a courtroom again, unless he's wearing an orange jumpsuit"

Just imagine Anita Gibbs and Daniel Hardman in the same room with Mike Ross. WHOA! 😲😲😲

Not at all. This was tough because of the nature of the case, the odds were naturally stacked against them. Gibbs had a slam dunk and the verdict was actually not guilty. She was lucky that Mike pled guilty because it would have been embarrassing for her for the verdict to be publicly not guilty. That being said, the whole thing is Harvey’s fault, but that’s a different story.

In real life I cannot imagine any law firm hiring a pretend attorney. Especially one who worked on 88 cases and with multiple staff aware of his fraud. But I love the show, Suits and cannot stop watching all the episodes over and over again!

The only people aware of Mike being a fraud at this point were all senior management within the firm, the general populus didnt know until the case was under way Yes in real life Jessica would have sacked Mike and if she knew Harvey was aware would have sacked Harvey to However TV land isnt real world

Aunt Gibbs is a piece of work. You never know what she is has going on. 0:05 what a piece of work she certainly brought into the family. All I can say is Harvey doesn't know what she has up her sleeve.

Don't you love Anita Gibbs, the actress who plays her does very well Leslie Hope. She plays scary , intimidating quietly , quite well. Imagine being in a room, alone, late at night, finger printed, dignity gone, and listening to her saying that. Come on have to admit even character Mike Ross is little scared, he says to Harvey later this woman is no joke. Don't you love how they played this TV episode.

passing the bar is only one step towards getting licensed to be a lawyer in new york.

If you pass the bar you are a real lawyer. Harvard or not.

They can’t just assign me an attorney unless I am indigent and unable to afford it. I have the right to choose. This is also a show, so.. lol

She broke the Law as well, so maybe she should arrest herself, also she was cocky as well.

Sadly I'm finding more and more actors that play some of these villain roles are terrible people in real life and i hear horror stories about what they are like to work with and how they treat people. It's hard when i can't say they're just acting.

Is there a provision (in real life) that allows someone to become a member of the bar without attending law school? Clearly, Mike was accepted in a later season without the degree, but is it really a thing?

Anita gibbs is the boss of the whole series

Anita says "Looks like you may not want me to leave right now, I am sure that if you are innocent you would like to be alone, in this room, with that man". Anita tells Mike referring to Robert Zane.

Gibbs was my second least favorite bad guy, behind Malik. She preaches a holier than thou "You broke the law and must PAY." while actively skirting the same laws to put Mike away; she believes the law matters, unless SHE needs to break it.

She was great

I look back on this show and it just hones in to how I have always liked older women, because I did not dislike Anita because she was a hottie.

Why does that work with Robert Zane showing up? Isn't it "I would like to have my lawyer", not, "any lawyer will do" ? But well, it's a fictional story :)

This was cool but it confuses me. Harvey & mikes entire defense is that he is a Harvard educated lawyer and it was Anitta trying to prove he isn’t. But Mike said he wasn’t a lawyer on camera and said he was after he shut it off, implying he’s trying not to seem like a practicing lawyer

I like powerful women and they are as old as time, Anita Gibbs was just annoying.
