Don't understand why people even are surprised or shocked. Vettori has always lacked defensive abilities exactly like Nate, Tony, Gaethje, Oliveira and Chandler, so a record was gonna be broken sooner or later...

Yeah same. For me Marvin was taking wayyy too many clean concussive head shots from Jared. Was getting hard to watch at times... and now i can't imagine him being the same after this. Doctors placed Marvin into care for head trauma after the fight, no interviews from him since! Bad night for Vetorri

Vettori is the Italian wolverine . His bones were replaced with Italian marble and gabagool .

Vettori and Dricus are actually similar. Really tough chin, often the opponent gets too excited and then they fire back and catch their opponent. Smarter fighters who are more technical however don't get excited when the guy looks like he is hurt, so they rarely give the opportunity for guys like Vettori and Dricus to fire back. Whittaker will defeat Dricus by outstriking him severely, Whittaker is an elite striker, but he is also intelligent as well, he doesn't rush in trying to brawl when he thinks someone is hurt, he will keep picking his shots selectively until he gets a TKO against Dricus. As far as Vettori, with more brain damage his nervous system will fire off even worse in the future, meaning he will become even slower and less skilled than he is now, which isn't that skilled anyway. Expect to see Vettori flat out KO'd in the future at some point, by him being too slow and incompetent and getting cracked cleanly too many times by massive shots. It's not always that they get KO'd because the chin became weaker, often it's because the brain damage made their movement and reactions worse and enables huge shots to easily hit them, then they get KO'd. I don't think Vettori can change, I think he is on a downward spiral, unless the UFC try to feed him some tomato cans out of sympathy.

Only thing I took issue with, I'm one of the people who is comfortable saying Izzy won fight 2 with Rob, although it was so close that had Rob won, I would have been wholly comfortable with that as well, it was razor thin and could have gone either way. But Izzy did his usual and said he whooped Rob TWICE. Like, bro, you assassinated him the first time, but the second time you were both 50/50.

Marvin Vettori is a warm body willing to get in there. Respect to him, but he should probably call it quits. That massive noggin of his has taken wayyy too many blows.
