This wonderful rendition of Danny Boy by Robert White and certainly one of most beautiful I’ve ever heard.
Wonderful voice,he sings so effortlessly. Fantastic

A rendition of Danny Boy as only an Irish heart can sing it.
Perfect vocal technique and beautiful
Mr. White's Danny Boy has been added to my favored music list. Great singing, making tear drops in my eyes!!!! I cannot forget the Three Irish Tenor's Danny Boy through out my life.
Among the very best renditions.
Loved it, kept it simple and real.
Beautiful. Nuff said ❤️
Silken tones from a magnificent gifted tenor voice. Thank you Robert White for giving such joy.
Singing is a gift and those who have this gift are blessed.
magnificent, best ever, pity singers who scream dont sing like this
Beautifully sung
The pipes, the pipes, the tears, the tears. Wish my old Dad, a Son of Ireland, was here to hear this beautiful voice. I don't think I've heard it sung better.

I have never heard this sung so ardently. I have just a few LPs left of Robert White, I bought them all. Such a sweet lyrical voice.

The best version ever! I never really liked this song, I always thought it was overplayed...until I heard Robert White sing it. His interpretation is so beautiful and sensitive, it completely changed it for me.
This is really wonderfully, I wish that I had this man,s voice tears in my eyes
Ahh Robert.....the voice of an angel . I loved his voice when I saw this as a child. He has that tender lilt that only Irish tenors have. Listening to this with my eyes closed and a smile of pure pleasure. Thank you for sharing.
I first heard Robert sing on Pebble Mill many moons ago.It blew me away then and it blows me away now. Exquisite.

I could not agree more! Beautiful and phenomenal!
❤wonderfull
as pure a tenor voice as you will ever hearAlistair Mackie
So beautifully and simply sung, sensitive but without unnecessary histrionics. I've been a fan of Robert White for 40 years. So good to have him on KZread. (I wish his recordings were more readily available, especially the recordings of Turn of the Century parlor songs.)

Absolutely beautiful. My dear Father sang this when I was a child. My third son is Daniel - aka Danny Boy. My Father sang this to him when he was a baby & child. He is 41 years young today. He remembers his Grandfather singing this to him. He says he can still hear him singing this song! How I wish I had recorded him. I love Robert White's tenor voice as he sings Danny Boy! Thank you.

WOW!

Most feeling high danny boy singing
Great.
wow..
Wow! 😯
John Gary and Dennis Day sing this very well.
i think i will have danny boy on the brain :-j-c
Excellent, enjoyed this, thanks so much for posting. Any idea, what year this was? See on KZread Robert White in 1980/1981 in the Good Old Days with several Irish songs, for those who love Irish folksongs. They scored only 550 viewers so far and this Robert White contribution almost 18.400. Strange ! Was the entry or keyword Danny Boy and not Robert White ?? No doubt Robert White was an excellant ambassador for Ireland in the USA all those decades when he is active. Congratulations Robert!

I am now almost sure this was in 1984 ???? making Robert as young as 48 (and Val Doonican 57).
Up there with the best
I love this song in spite of all the people who say it is cheesy! This is a very pleasant version -he reaches all the notes, but he misses a little soul.

Paddy mcgintys 🐐
I'm here because of flow
John McCormack!!
Danny boy John McDermott
HARRY Bellafonte's Danny Boy too.
Surprisingly, it was never recorded or performed by John McCormack.
Sounds A Bit Like Johnny McCormick (Irish Tenor)

He's far better!
This great tenor sure does justice. However, Judy Garland's 1955 recording reflects her gifts like no other.
Not bad. Pretty good. JOHN McDermott and Judy Collins really nail it.
This and other renditions are overly dramatic performances of what was intended to be a quiet and soft lament.
No stage presence
