Robert comes across as such a lovely, genuine guy. sad he did not make it.
I remember reading in TV guild just after he passed away his wife said in the final moments he was frightened. She held him close and told him that there was lots of love in her heart and to be still. She said when she released him he was dead. It was so said to read that. It brought tears to my eyes at the time.

Bill Taylor That's so sad. He was a sweet guy. I'm sure she gave him comfort. That must of been really hard for her. I like to believe they're together now. May they rest easy together again.

Robert's death really moved a lot of people on both sides of the Atlantic...Loved him so much ...hope him and his lovely wife are now together forever xxxx
If anyone ever doubted if Robert Urich was a class act this footage will erase that thought. RIP to Robert,Heather and Regis.

The Hughes fortune was built upon the Sharp-Hughes Tool Company, which became the Hughes Tool Company when Sharp died. When Howards father, Howard Sr., died, Howard became the principle of the company, called "Toolco" internally, and he used Toolco money to fund his aircraft and motion picture activities.
That's the cancer he passed away from.
