You have to admit it's kind of a dick move to just attack somebody without them knowing beforehand. Em has an image to uphold after all. Especially after the thing with Moby. He was unprepared. And probably high, which makes hand puppets be even weirder then when you're sober. Could have handled it better, yeah, but still.

I love Triump but this narrative is so dumb. Eminem is literally the most selling male artist for 2 consecutive decades. The only hip hop artist with 2 Diamond albums. His worst album went Platinum. That's saying something.

For context, I believe Eminem's best friend Proof died between the VMAs and when he wrote the song. Eminem was sent into a depression and started using drugs, which, if you watch the video to the song, or even listen to the song, kinda makes sense.
