Royston is such a creative dancer with great sense of humour too, much like Ben Morris I think, so the chemistry between Robert and Victoria is nice. Also Victoria is just such am amazing partner. She picks up on the leaders movements so quickly, but she also is very creative herself, whenever she is given space. Wonderful dances!

Obviously friends, however that is what is possible if she knows you are not coming on to her and if it all - and always - stays cool. For all the "boys who try to get some" every time they go out dancing just because there is body contact -.-

@@quintoncampbell2244 I call those Magic or 'Slip' Hands; the right hand stays in contact while the left hand releases and re-catches so her hand slips thru.

So much for swing content!!! Is this what we should be doing in Intermediate J&J, playing elementary school games, or should we actually dance WCS? I get the whole musicality thing, but sometimes it just gets a little out of hand in my opinion.

Jesse Brummett you’re fighting an up hill battle on that one. No you shouldn’t do any of that because intermediate dancers are proving they can dance. Pro’s.. can do whatever they like to win, cause they win big money to place in the top three. And, they’ve proven they can dance. I’ve had the same frustrations for a decade. I’ve learned to appreciate their art. Loved every bit of it!

I agree, I just think that they should limit it. The first dance doesn't even really fit the music at all. They are just rolling on the floor. The second one is much better.

Overall it's got quite a lot of swing content. And a fair bit of having fun/mucking around. If you and your partner danced that well, then I think you would win almost any intermediate/advanced contest hands down. Lastly it's worth pointing out that they didn't win. Ben has labeled this 2nd place.

There's plenty of swing content in this. They are dancing at the highest levels and they are probably doing this more for the performance aspect than the "oh my gosh I have to show good technique so I can place" aspect. I don't think they are necessarily taking this division that seriously. I don't see as much of this stuff at say, the US Open. Sometimes pros just want to let loose and have fun.
