Rawa blues Poland. Probably the best blues festival in Europe.
On Chicago, I gladly got painful sunburn to hear Robert play!
The first time I ever saw Robert Randolph and the family band was at the university of Pennsylvania. It was free because no one had heard of them. There were 20 people in the place. They opened the doors. And the kids started streaming in from hearing the music. And by the time they got done, it was hysterical fun. God it was the best. It's good to see that they're still kicking ass and taking numbers.
To RR. The old ones are becoming fewer everyday that made the history so unique of electric string music. Your creativity on the pedal steel making it sound the new wave you've blended with the old with so many new types of equiptment changing what we call the blues today is fantastic to hear youre inventive style. So glad I grew up in the electric age and humbled that you carry on the torch. Good music makes me high. I can see it does the same for you and many of the folks you play with. Please stay away from the drugs that make life to a short as we've seen to many good ones become great when they pass never to be seen again except on recordings.you take of your soul and your health you can do what you want with making music new everyday til you reach 100 yrs or older. Drugs waste your time body and talent. Music saves them. God bless you hope you take this to heart the children on up are listening and watching. Love Peace and Happiness are on your path of life. Love that B3 your music makes me feel like I'm back in the 60s as a teen again. Thanks brothers and sister for making RR keep it going
I saw them 3 hours ago in Torrita di Siena. I won't never forget It. I can't sleep for all the positive emotions they give us. I think One of the best concerts in my Life. I Will print the pictures I took with Robert. Amazing man. Amazing band. God bless you all.
My goodness, about TIME we get this kinda music. I LOVE you all, from Savannah ga. Y'all break all barriers of rock and soul. Thank YOU
Excellent as Always. Love Nod to Zeppelin as well.
the,'' EAGLES ''- Thank you for all the incredible, inspiring, memorably, gifted ,talented music. From the land of ENCHANTMENT; CALIFORNIA's Finest since I first heard them in the early 70's while I were in the Armed Forces. Sincerely Guys,'' Curt Schultz ''[fellow musician ]

I will never forget that day! :D It's me getting and dancing on the stage as first! :D I talked about it with Robert a day before in hotel - I had to tell him that he did this to me in 2011 at Olsztyńskie Noce Bluesowe, so he promised to do it again.. and here I am :D I love him sooooooo much!

These guys replaced Gregg Allman on a ticket with ZZ Top when Gregg got sick. The promoter offered a refund, but I took a chance on them and came away amazed. I'm a Randolph fan now. So good.
In the mood for my Son in my head Robert Randolph.
I love this!
There are great players and then there are great players that are innovators and cut a brand new path that nobody has really been down before. Robert Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, SRV, Chet Atkins and Tommy Emanuel come to mind... and Robert Randolph playing the pedal steel. He is one of those innovating musicians I think.

Actually, he's part of a long line of black gospel steel guitar players. They've been playing in church since it was invented.

@@TedSilar Watched him talk about his tone and how he gets it. It originated from damaged pickups and him wanting to get a more "Strat" kind of sound out of the instrument. Nobody was doing that like him.
Robert does stuff with a pedal steel that nobody else does!
Love this band.
YEP,MY MIND IS BLOWN.
super,merci muzone

I've been rather disconnected from the music scene since my son changed careers (he was IATSE local 8, a sounds engineer and/or stage manager, now he flies airplanes & is always traveling - I miss him like crazy). My son turned me on to Robert & the Family. I really loved his early performances from way back - when they were the opening act for "bigger" artists ( No disrespect intended but I had no desire to see the Black Crows, I went to the show to see Robert! I was rather disappointed with how the record company tried to "package" Robert and the band (but also confess to never bothering to see what record company signed them). I've absolutely enjoyed his life performances over the years. Funny - that his shows feel ra lot like the Grateful Dead shows always did: less performance or "show", a lot more like a get together or even a tribal stomp! I think it's because of the way the band chooses to make their audience part of the show, the way they interact, and because they don't always play a song exactly the same way over and over again so it's always evolving. I read somewhere, maybe McNally's book, that Jerry Garcia said he always made a conscious effort to be a part of something that was moving and dynamic, something "alive" but note: I may an old Deadhead I'm not too old to appreciate the charisma of that young man as well as his bandmates!! Kudos Robert, Danyel, Marcus, et.al.! ❤️
Holy hell this guy shreds harder on that pedal steel than most standard players!
Shared it to… ☮🔥
This cat is a major innovator.
Nice how this is actually hidden gospel
SUCESSO.

THIS IS NOT SONG! THERE ARE NO GOOD SONGS HERE! GIVE ME GOOD SONGS AND GOOD BLUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So many choked notes, and inaccurate bends from both guitarists. Bad tone on the strat. They seem just a cut below this festival.
Sky is crying song was deff not the best.. the singer missed the soul of it.. melody was all wack
