The song 'I Never Will Marry' was written by A.P. Carter and first recorded by The Carter Family in the 1930s. I suppose you could describe it as Country Music or Appalachian Folk Music. Many other people have recorded it. I also like Linda Ronstadt's version. Robert Plant's version to me has Irish or Scottish folk influences. I love it. Cheers.
